The amazon kids tablet gives parents so much ease with how easy it is to use. Plus the parent app is just awesome. You can see what they download, request to download, put a timer, all kinds of stuff. Plus amazon has a subscription you can get for the kids tablet (cheap) and it has all these games for them. You can choose how old your child is on the tablet and it downloads specific apps for that age. I will never buy another tablet for my kids. I have been a customer of the Amazon tablet for 4 years and you can't beat the quality of it. Not even mentioning the fact that it's such a great price for a kids tablet! I was very weary of these cause I’ve heard mixed reviews but they work amazingly, I got 2 one for each kid my one is 4 and the other is 2 and they both picked up extremely quick on how to use everything! It comes with a year free subscription to Amazon kids+ which I thought was super cool! It honestly has everything you can think of child friendly on it! My kids only bring it to me when they’ve downloaded to many games and need to clear some storage! The battery life is really good, can go days without charging! There’s 1,000s of apps, books, learning videos etc to choose from! I love them I almost want one for my self! It also has a parents side that you can switch to and read books, download apps, get in the web and everything! So they use it during the day and you can use it at night! This is by far my FAVORITE tablet for kids 1 and up. I love the durability and the size, quality and look of the tablet. It’s super cute and very durable with my kids. I was really opposed to young kids having tablets but my husband was more lax. Obviously, I didn’t get my way, but this tablet is perfect for little ones. Parents are given a lot of flexibility in terms of safety restrictions. I enable WiFi, but have removed web searching. The Amazon kids+ membership seems well worth it and after the trial, I plan on subscribing. The tablet can get very loud, so I keep it on a lower volume—just so the kids can hear and it won’t disturb the parents. The tablet is pretty durable (the cover does a great job of protecting against frequent drops and heavy handling). 2 yo is able to navigate pretty easily. The storage capacity has been serving us well—we have about 5 apps and several books downloaded. We haven’t needed any more. The download speed is acceptable for apps and most things. ... show more

We had a kids Fire Tablet 7 -- it eventually got glitchy, slow, and would freeze or not respond. We upgraded to this and it's a world of difference. Faster, responsive, great big screen. It comes loaded with tons of apps for kids -- a couple pro tips. - Disable in app purchases unless you want your kids spending your life savings with add on's to games. - Reduce the number of games on home screen in the parental control pannel - its too overwhelming and will fill up your memory fast when your kids downloads them all. ... show more

My 2 1/2 year old absolutely loves it. I ad a parent love it to because I can control what she sees on this tablet. It connects easy to Wifi, the color is a pretty light pink which she loves, it has withstood quite a few drops. It was definitely worth the money.
