This was purchased for my autistic grandson. He is 6 years old but did not start speaking even small words until last year thanks to listening to others and his previous amazon tablet. That tablet got broken after years of use and after it's warranty had worn out. This tablet is FAR better than the 2020 tablet. The 5G network is amazingly fast and it has a Very long battery life which lasts around 12 hours before it needs a couple of hours of recharging. My grandson's sleep schedule is crazy. We have yet to be able to get him on a decent schedule because he is awake for around 16 hours, sleeps 8 hours, and then he is up again for another 16 hours. His energy is amazing. Most of the time he is on this tablet. We have noticed that he has been speaking sentences and using big words like incomprehensible which we know he learned from his tablet from a particular app. He also does grade 3 math and even algebra on his tablet and he gets it right! I am not trying to gloat but genius does run in our family for generations and he and his older brother do fit the bill easily, as does their cousin. Along with myself, my wife, and our kids, and my dad etc. It goes on and on BUT this tablet gives my grandson access to information right at his fingertips to help him to learn new knowledge in order to use that genius. The new Amazon kids app makes it even easier to pause screen time approve apps and so much more. The case it’s durable protects the device well. Touch screen works great. I got this for my nephew because he will take your phone to play games which what kids doesn't. There's so many games, learning apps, fun apps on it that are available that he can do anything. The first day he got it he was on it alot, next day it still had a decent battery percentage thankfully. It runs so smooth thankfully that there's no lag between games or YouTube videos. So far he carries it everywhere, he's protective of it and havent seen him drop it yet thankfully, but seems pretty durable. I need to get a screen protector because i want to make sure he doesn't scratch it but so far after a few weeks it cleans up nicely. i honestly think it is worth the price when it comes to eveything. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I drove from Western Montana to Southern Nevada (Nearly 1000 miles) over Christmas break this year with our 14 month old. This tablet was perfect because we were able to download our son’s favorite movies on the Disney Plus App to play for him when he started getting restless or fussy on the drive. The case is included and is great quality with a built in adjustable stand. My only criticisms would be that the interface is pretty clunky and there isn’t a way to download YouTube kids (or if there is a way, it is not straightforward or user friendly like downloading other apps was). We were really hoping to download some Ms. Rachel videos but weren’t able to find a way to. Overall this tablet is an awesome value for the price and the Amazon guarantee gives great piece of mind when your kid inevitably drops it a million times.
