Love this type of metal shelf system: so easy to assemble and so versatile. I ordered these poles to set up a new set of shelves and they arrived quickly, had all the additional pieces (adjustable feet, tops to cover the open upper end, etc) one could want. I was particularly pleased because I had ordered the same thing at a higher price from another company... who never shipped, so I ended up cancelling that order. Despite the lower price, these are quality components, I will order from this company again.     • not compatible with Aldi Workzone poles, but good quality in its own right

I had hoped to combine these poles with an Aldi Workzone wire shelving unit. Unfortunately the outer diameter of the screw threads (male end) on the Aldi poles is *slightly* larger than these, so the poles can't fit together. But the Aldi shelves fit fine on these poles... you could combine these poles, with shelves from the Aldi Workzone line, and they should work fine. ... show more

So, you ask, why is 5 Star Review in the 3 Star category? Because, most people do not read the 5 Star Reviews, the 5 Stars say it all, not much more you’ll learn from those reviews other than the different variations on the same theme of How Great these Items are. So, let me fill you in on the details you might not otherwise read. The who transaction was awesome. Ordered 4 36” Posts that appear to have shipped from the factory. The packaging was perfectly sized and applied to ensure no damage to contents within. Received the package within days and earlier than expected in a rural part of Montana. Everything in the box was not only as promised and expected but actually better than expected. The 4 36” Posts were individually wrapped in plastic. All the misc. pieces that were to be included were indeed there all sealed within an individual plastic bag. The unwrapped polls were shining new and straight as an arrow. I couldn’t believe the level of quality that was applied to ensuring my purchased product fully met my expectations all while being sold at the best price on Amazon. Our Alera purchase was Sold & Shipped by Amazon and not some 3rd party supposedly selling the same items. Buy from Alera (via Amazon) with confidence! ... show more
