The finish color is great and it is not easily scratched. The set is well weighted and feels substantial in your hand, yet it functions easily. My only small critique would be that the difference in size of the large and small spoons is not much different other than the handle length. Unfortunately this set will be returned. We got one use out of it and I noticed rust began developing on one of the knives. I scrubbed and scrubbed thinking my kids left food on it. Nope. It’s rust. It’s unfortunate because we love the style and feel of this set. We were actually going to purchase a second set. The reviews for this product were pretty positive. I ordered a set of these a couple of months ago and they did not disappoint. They are heavy, durable and look good. I was worried about the finish after quite a few rounds through the dishwasher, but they still look as good as they did the day they were delivered.

We purchased two sets in late Feb/early March. We use them daily and run them through the dishwasher nearly daily. It's late June now and some of the black finish is coming off of the spoons and the backs of the forks.
