Set up was easy and my 6 year old loves that she can change the colors based on her mood, the season, etc. Works great and exactly what we needed. I love that we can set what days of the week the alarm rings so when she turns it back on Friday morning, it won't ring until Monday. The ONLY complaint I have about this clock is that there is no "Dismiss" button. You have to turn the alarm fully off and back on again if you want it to stop for the day. ... show more

I purchased this clock for my 9 year old , who has adhd and has trouble keeping track of time. The colors draw her attention and it's so big & bright (i can dim it down if needed)enough for her to read. I also like that it can show her what day it is mon-sun. I also got this Clock for the alarm sounds . It's nice that I can change it up and also she now wakes up on time everyday now. I don't need to go in and tell her anymore to wake up. Buttons all use pictures so is easy for kids to use. The kid loves picking her night light color and sleep sounds. Alarms can be set for weekday/weekend only so I don't have to remember to turn it on and off for school. There's nothing "wrong" with the clock, but I hate it. The controls are not intuitive, so I just barely remember how to reset it when the electricity goes out. It has all the control buttons on the top of the clock, so that it's easy to hit the wrong one, and there's no way to turn off the colored lights or the annoying sounds without the instruction manual, except to unplug the clock and plug it back in again. The colors are garish and hard to manage. The "sleep sounds" sound like they're play through a tin can. The plug is on the side of the clock, not the back, so that if it's in the wrong place on your night table, you'll be knocking it off by accident several times a week. My 10 year old son really likes this clock. It is super easy to use. It is a good quality and small enough in size to fit on his bookshelf. It’s Very sturdy and does not fall over easily. The best part is it’s a great nightlight with so many different color patterns to chose from.

This clock is very lightweight. The alarm works very well and I enjoy waking to the sound of waves crashing. A nice variety of sounds to wake or fall asleep. I accidentally forgot to turn alarm completely off and walked out to the living room. I could hear it all the way into the kitchen on the other side of the house. It does get loud. I like the size and brightness of the numbers. They can be turned down at night and turned up during the day. It is very easy to setup for the time and alarms. I love the snooze button being larger and on the top of the clock. What I don't like is the fact that the power cord is on the side. It is in the way. They should put it in the back so no matter where you place the clock the cord is not in the way. I also have not figured out how to turn down the brightness of the nightlight. I don't turn it on due to its brightness. If the clock sits high and not on the nightstand, the nightlight would be ok. There are a good variety of nightlight colors to choose from.
