Any spray foam is going to be messy but this performed as well as any of the spray foam barriers that I have used. It does smell like moth balls, so I would only use it for exterior purposes. One can seems to go a lot further than other well known brands.

    • Defective product
4 of the 12 cans sent are defective, and will not release any foam whatsoever. But Amazon would not replace the item due to the order being at the end of august. I was waiting for my new building construction to be completed. So basically there saying. You just use all 12 cans within 30 days to have any type of warranty replacement. In the past 5 years I’ve spent over $25,000 with Amazon. So they are losing a loyal customer over a $40 product warranty ... show more

After the first use it was hard to dispense it again. Air would come out of the Canister but the foam seemed to stay. After shaking it several times and turning it upside-down, I was able to get it to work better but still nothing like the 1st use.

Our new to us home has 70 year old windows in the basement and they needed to be sealed around the edges so I got this in hopes it would do the trick; it absolutely did! I was also able to use this to seal the back door that hasn't been square in the door frame in years, and all the old coaxial cable holes in the floors and walls.
