  • Can't complain. This gets the job done.
First, I'm using this for bass guitar. Overall, this amp is great. Lots of features, good sound quality, and the best part: seamless bluetooth integration. Connects flawlessly to my iPhone, every time. I wish it had a little more power to drive the volume a bit more in Bypass mode, but it's good enough. Plenty of volume when using the effects (which I don't use at all. They don't sound good to me on bass). I ditched my old Vox headphone amp for this. The bluetooth feature is just so great to jam a long with a song or a rhythm. ... show more

  • Works surprisingly well.
The distortion sounds awful but the clean is surprisingly good. It also work quite well for bass. I didn’t need the instructions to figure out how to use this so I would say it user friendly. For what I need it works well.

  • For my silent guitar
Original review: 5 Stars I have an old Sinsonido of which the pickup has gone bad. I installed an under-saddle piezo pickup but it does not power to drive the headphones. This one gives me both an amp and a tuner and a bluetooth receiver in a small package. I use the bluetooth feature to receive metronome beats from my phone. The tuner works great. I get a few days of practice (5 - 6 hours) out of a charge of the internal battery. For convenience's sake, I added a small USB power bank and pull out the power bank to charge instead of pulling out the amp to charge. The customizations initially appears complicate but it is really logical and simple. I have not used any of the distortion effects and have not used the recording port so I can not comment on those features. A tuner costs $15 - $20, a bluetooth receiver about $10. The price of this unit is not just good. It is great. Update Dec. 30, 2022: I subtracted one star due the intermittent failure (more than 50% of the time) of bluetooth connection. The sound coming from my iPhone/iPad (about 2 ft away) becomes impossible to hear. The sound is just from a metronome app (one - two - ...). ... show more

  • perfect for quiet practice
I got this so I could practice without disturbing everyone else in the house. For that, it's awesome. It's got a lot of tone options and is programmable but I've found one tone setting that's 'good enough' for the stuff I'm learning now so I don't have to fiddle with it. Just plug it in and go. The volume gets lower after the battery shows 75%, but I just turn up the volume on the guitar when that happens. I usually recharge it every Friday so I don't know how long it lasts without that recharge, but I'm playing the electric 30 min a day, often using this 5 out of 6 days I'm practicing. To me this is how my guitar sounds, actually using the amp sounds 'strange'. Been playing 2 years now, so take this endorsement with that skill level in mind. ... show more

  • Difficult to use and awkward
Bad idea buying this. Very expensive for what it does. Not at all intuitive to use. Instructions had print so fine I could not read them. More useless junk.

  • Excellent tool.
I use it to practice at night when others have gone to bed. Good effects but a good read of the instructions will help with changing them to your liking. I also found that it can be used for effects when plugged into an amp. Using a cable that has an eighth inch jack on one side, and a quarter on the other. ... show more

  • I was so excited
i was so excited for it, but the background static is very annoying on any gain level, and the distortion is really bad. however, for the price, you get to try out different effects cheaply.

  • Noisy with very little variety in tones.
The noise it produces while the guitar is not playing was too much for me to deal with, it does not give a wide range of tones ot tone control.
