I have purchased lots of feather/down comforters that have cost hundreds of dollars so I was skeptical to purchase this for so cheap a price. But I figured it's for my guest bedroom so, why not. I purchased the queen size extra-warm comforter. Pros: It was on sale for $55. So I feel it was worth it. It's perfect for Montana winters. The cotton fabric is thick. I washed it and did not see any feathers poking out. It is well sewn. Because of the weight, You would need to trade it out for a thinner comforter for the summer months. The most important fact is that it is RDS certified. I would never purchase a comforter that was not RDS certified. It's super fluffy and looks luxurious in my guest bedroom. Cons: The fabric is not very soft, but I'm sure the more you wash it, the softer it will get. Therefore, you will need a duvet cover. The fabric is noisy. I don't think it would work for my bed because it would wake me up, plus it would be way too hot for me. Another thing is that it is 90% feathers and only 10% down. Personally I like an all down comforter but they cost a fortunate. All in all this is a good comforter and I am very pleased with my purchase. Even paying full price it is worth it. TIP: To get your duvet super fluffy in between washes, you will need to put it in the dryer on the warm setting for about 20 minutes. ... show more

Just right for winter, but the fabric is kind of noisy, makes a crinkling noise every time you move the comforter. I'm hoping that it won't be so bad once I put it inside of a duvet cover. No odors, fluffed decently. I would have given it 5 stars if not so noisy.
