  • Better than Factory Part
Like many others have said, the factory part started leaking and everyone i called said it was normal. It's not normal and this part fixed the problem. It's worth the $20 to get something that works. Just get it. Edit: Some sellers on amazon are selling the legitimate OEM elbow and some arent (which leak). Ive had very good luck with ordering through DALMARE LLC who is selling legitimate OEM parts. Find this company in the list of sellers if you can. ... show more

  • This is the right replacement
I had bought other so called exact fits but all of them either leaked or didn't swivel. This one is an exact fit to my cpap and definately works perfectly.

  • Stuck Valves and Excessive Noise
I expected better from ResMed. I purchased a two-pack from the ResMed Amazon store (so, not a knock-off). Both of them have an issue with the valve. It stays open, even when the machine is on, until I take a deep breath and then exhale as hard as I can. They're also noisy, hissing so loudly that I must wear earplugs to bed. While these may be just part of a defective lot, where is the quality control? I've never had an issue with a ResMed branded product before, but this is beyond. Positive air presure equipment is meant to keep people breathing, and to send out even one piece, let alone two, that don't work properly is a bit irresponsible. Everything from discomfort to excessive noise to valves getting stuck open are reasons that CPAP and BIPAP treatments are far less effective than their efficacy trials would suggest. ... show more
