  • Outstanding
This product automatically adds air upon starting the vehicle to maintain the stock suspension performance. It has 3 presets and of course you can set it on the go with whatever load you are carrying. I am totally impressed

  • So convenient!
Love the ease of changing the pressure in my air bag system while driving or while loading the truck/ trailer. It has 2 program settings so i set one for my boat and 1 for my car hauler. If I need to adjust the ride while driving, press the arrow buttons and it takes care of everything. If I am loading a different vehicle on my car hauler or towing someone elses boat, I just take the remote with me, load the truck and use the arrows to adjust pressure until I like the level. install is easy and straight forward. Install time was about 1 hour for my 2012 toyota tundra Crew max due to taking all the interior panels off so i could run wiring behing everything and finding a body penetration that i could use to run the air lines back to the air bags at my rear axle. I also added a quick disconnect so i can plug in my air hose and fill my tires if needed. The pump is not made to be in the elements so that is why I mounted the compressor inside the cab of my truck. 3 things i will note about an interior install. DO NOT mount compressor where it touchs the truck body or plastic molding inside the vehicle. It will be VERY noisy if you do. Second, this is a compressor so it makes NOISE. granted it takes about 7 seconds to get to 25 pounds and 20 seconds to be at 75 pounds so it isnt a big deal regarding duration. finally, since it has a regulator on it and is fully automatic, weight changes and temperature changes will make it add air or remove air as needed. For instance, it was 80 degrees yesterday when i parked. This morning it was 50. As soon as i started the truck, the compressor kicked on for about 1 second to make up the difference. That is long enough to startle you if you are not used to it. ... show more

  • Just what I've been looking for at a very reasonable price. Perfect system for my Firestone air bags.
I was tired of inflating the Firestone air bags on my truck as I often switch between an empty bed to a truck camper to a 5th wheel trailer each of which required a different air pressure. Additionally I held off buy any particular kit because of the expense and not wanting to bolt an ugly air pressure gauge to the dash inside my truck. Then I stumbled across the Air Lift wireless system. It was everything I wanted and much cheaper than the system offered by Firestone. I installed this on a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Based on the installation requirements given in the instructions, I mounted the compressor and valve assembly on a steel plate that is mounted under bed of the truck near the front drivers side. This keeps the compressor out of harms way, keeps it isolated from flying debris from the tires and also keeps it relatively dry and will not be affected by water kicked up by the tires. Given this location, it took longer to install because I had to work around the driveshaft while laying on my back. I'd say I spent 3/4 hour just installing the compressor and valve. Installing the air lines took 15 minutes and that included deciding on the best way to route them. Both very easy to do, just find an appropriate location for the compressor. Wiring the hot lead was the most work. I tried to locate a spare fuse but there were none in my truck. I should have just used the included fuse "jumper" to bridge the connection in the first place. Everything you need is included. First rate kit and system! So now I have the perfect system. I have a remote control that clips to the sun visor out of the way and very handy. And no ugly analog air gauge bolted to my dash - I really had no place to put it either. THANK YOU Air Lift! ... show more

  • 2007 Ford F150 Harley Davidson
Installed the airlift bags last week, and bought this product to finish off the install. While waiting for the item to be shipped, I scoped out a mounting location on the inside frame under the rear passengers side. Also ran a fused wire from the battery into the cab area behind the glove box. There I installed a 12VDC relay, and tapped a switched wire (red/yellow off the white plug assembly above the fuse box) so that the major part of the wiring was done. Did this because with a 12 amp draw (according to specs on the compressor), I really didn't want to piggy back off another fuse. Anyways, the package arrived today, and a leisurely hour and a half later it was all installed and working perfectly. Its a little startling at first when you start the truck, and the compressor kicks on for a second while bringing pressure to the desired set level. But good to know that it monitors your psi setting and will kick on to bring it up to level. Also found I could get about 20 feet behind the truck, and the remote still activated the manifold/compressor. Time to go from 5psi to 20psi, which is where I am running this on a daily basis, was 6 seconds. Fills quickly to say the least. Very satisfied with this product, and with another $50 rebate off the original price (until June) its a no brainer for those that have air bags and are looking for a single path setup. ... show more

  • Easy install - faulty module - good support
PROS: Shipping and packaging were good. Installation was rather simple. Only took about an hour once I found a good spot for the compressor and module (above the spare tire in the back of my 2015 F250 was the best spot I could find). Remote is very simple to use and keep in the cab of the truck. CONS: The fuse tap that was provided to connect the hot wire to a fuse was terrible. Came off constantly. I purchased a new fuse tap from an auto part store and it worked much better. The biggest issue I found was that the module does not recognize the air pressure that is in the air bags. When I select 5 PSI, it airs the bags up to about 35 PSI. When I turn the truck off and turn it back on, it airs the bags up again (I have it set to 5 PSI and there is already 35 PSI in the bags and it once again puts air in the bags. Ugh...glad I installed the manual inflation / deflation schrader valve. SUPPORT: Called Air Lift support and they asked me to get the serial number off of the module (which I had to uninstall to get to). Once I talked to them they were able to ship out a new replacement module. No cost to me at all. I will update once I get the new module installed and tested to make sure this corrects the issue. ... show more
