We've had several air fryers over the years. We generally like using them, but cleaning them has never been fun. All our previous air fryers have had a dual basket system, with the main basket and a perforated inner basket. This one is designed differently with just one basket and a perforated tray at the bottom to let the air circulate. Additionally, the coating on the basket and tray definitely keeps food from sticking. We really enjoy air fryer chicken wings. I made the batch shown in the picture and once this air fryer cooled down, I poured out the chicken fat that had collected at the bottom and had the basket and tray cleaned in less than a minute. No scrubbing, no soaking, just soapy water and a sponge. SO much easier than our old air fryers. The unit runs quietly. The touchscreen is fine. It's mostly for presets. Once you've selected a preset it's very easy to adjust the temp or time. The controls do take a couple of uses to get accustomed to. I accidentally stopped it while cooking a couple of times before I got used to the controls. It cooks a little more evenly than our previous air fryers. Instead of just cooking the food on the edges of the basket, it does cook in the center too, just not quite as well. You'll still need to move food around while cooking, but it does cook more evenly and I'm pleased with that. The unit is typical in size for this capacity. The stainless on the top and sides is attractive enough, but it is pretty thin. We've already managed to dent it. I'm not going to remove any stars for the thin exterior because at this price range, I think that's what one should expect. I can definitely recommend this air fryer. ... show more

The controls and setting on this fryer are extremely easy to learn and use. The power behind this is extreme and it cooks evenly while providing that fried taste and feel a normal oil fryer would. The unit itself looks awesome on a counter and blends nicely with other stainless appliances. It comes with a cookbook that has meal options that actually make sense for family meals. The only complaint I really have is the price, while I will say for the 5 times I have used it to cooked meals it is kind of worth it but anything over 2 hundred dollars is a far stretch for this style of appliance as there are many other options on the market with these features for alot less. If your air frying, baking, reheating or even thawing this unit is top notch to have and far exceeed my expectations. Overall I would definitely recommend this air fryer for anyone if it was on sale or listed at a price less than 2 hundred dollars. ... show more
