How do I obtain an exchange or refund under the warranty? After the device inflated the tire for about five minutes I heard a loud “clunk,” the device’s clacking sound turned into a high-pitched whine accompanied by scraping noises, and the pressure gauge never climbed above 11 PSI. Then the device stopped blowing exhaust air out the rear vent and no longer felt warm. I tried all sorts of tactics during the next hour, like unplugging and re-plugging in the the power cord, disconnecting and reconnecting the hose, and changing the programming on the panel. Nothing worked. The device inflated the tire from 0.5 PSI to 11 PSI, so the tire is no longer flat. But the car still isn’t drivable because this Nissan Xterra SUV tire requires 35 PSI.  What’s more, this device is crazy difficult to use. The layout of the buttons on the panel is completely illogical and confusing, and the absurd instructions are ridiculously incomplete and impossible to understand. For example, the hose won’t stay connected to the tire’s stem on its own, but it’s not clear whether one needs to press and hold the hose cap onto the stem, or try to screw it on. It also isn’t clear what the lever on the back of the hose cap is supposed to do. And there’s nothing written in the instructions about warranty service for defective units like mine. I was by unsure about buying this, but I needed something. When I opened the package, the instructions were there, but not very clear. I figured it was pretty self explanatory anyway, so I gave it a go. I couldn’t believe how simple it was to inflate each tire. It stops automatically when it reaches the required inflation amount and I was able to add air to the 4 tires on my SUV in less than 2 minutes. I've only used it once so far. I have a spare car (Outback) that I noticed was sitting on a flat tire (totally flat) and gave this pump a shot from the good reviews.
