I bought this to help orient the day for someone with dementia. it is always there boldface . with the LED lit up makes it stand out especially in the nighttime .as a soft night light. We placed it near the tv. No longer has to ask the time and date and is greatly appreciated. It takes stress off trying to be independent. I bought this for my 95-year old mother as an "upgrade" to the old wall clock that she could hardly see from across the room.
