I am a gerontology nurse, and I highly recommend this product! I’ve purchased this digital clock/calendar for three different older adults over the past two years. It’s great for those with dementia, or poor vision, or for really anyone who may lose track of days/dates or time (retirees, disabled, etc). I love the fact that, once set to correct time zone, the clock will automatically reset itself after a power outage or after being moved from one outlet to another. I have an elderly friend in assisted living who I visit twice a week. Her memory is slipping and it’s not uncommon for me to receive several phone calls a day asking what day/date/time is it. Hubs suggested an atomic clock and an Amazon search lead me to this clock. I bought it and set it up on her wall, and now I get several calls telling me what day/date/time it is. 😁 It has helped ground her and helps her not feel lost. I put it in his office next to his calendar so that he can write down important things and knows exactly what day it is. It's at the far wall but all he needs to do is peek in the door to see it.
