These storage containers are exactly what was needed! The glass is very thick and sturdy. I dropped one while washing and it bounced off the counter without issue. The lids are thick and pliable, fitting tightly so to be airtight. 20 pieces are included; 2 each of the 4 different sized bowls along with lids for all 8 and an additional 4 lids (1 of each size) should you ever require an extra. I was skeptical at first, as these were not one of the big brand names with which I was familiar. Don't let that stop you! These are not cheap knockoffs!     • Lids don’t fit well
Smallest bowl arrived with a chip on the rim so I returned them. As I packaged them back up for return, I did notice that the lids don’t fit very well. They were really tight and difficult to get on. I had to try different lids to get them to go on. I feel like it may have been the extra lids that weren’t fitting quite right, but it is hard to say due to the fact that I had them all unpacked and ready for dishwasher when I noticed the chip. Thus, I am not sure which lids came packaged on the dishes, but some were a tight fit and some didn’t fit at all. I feel like the lids would be cracking before long from being overstretched in order to fit. I would not recommend. ... show more

I bought this to go with some similar but smaller pyrex food storage containers--during a FIRST USE one of the lids cracked... so it's no longer air tight, defeating the purpose. The glass seems strong (& heavy) but they do not stack/nest as well as some other storage containers do so take up quite a bit of cabinet space. They're fine for now but I won't be buying these again... ... show more

We really like the glass bowls, but the lids need some improvements! They should be dishwasher safe!!! The one 6" lid cracked on the first use.
