I prefer these "bed" type log holders, though I know they don't last like the welded bar grates. But the fact that it arrived with a big chunk broken off--and the box was fine--says all you need to know about how "solid" this piece of crap is.

Front width 18” Back width 15” Depth 12” Leg height 2” Bottom of leg to top basket – 4.5” Packaged well with foam, boxes, tape. Appears well made and it has some weight to it and painted. Hopeful it will hold up for many burning seasons to come. (The old one lasted over 2 decades) Before using, inspect for any sharp edges or pointy spots; if any are located simply smooth with a light filing if needed. This is sometimes typical with items that are cast. It held up well as expected for the first couple of burns. Keep in mind….. grates such as these should be handled gently and not dropped to prevent cracks as they age. ... show more
