I rolled out of bed onto the floor about a week ago. Nothing broken but lots of soft tissue damage and swelling. I never want to do that again! This bedrail doesn't require a strap, extends deep into the width of the bed for stability. after falling out of bed and getting injured, reviewed this one and others. long legs for security under mattress, longer than most which made it a great choice. pockets on both sides hold everything I used to keep on nightstand, so very handy. It's nice but as I am a 300+ lbs person. I have to be careful to not bend it when I pull myself to the side of the bed

Great design. I had hip replacement surgery in August and this handy bed rail helped me get in and out of bed by myself. Very easy to put together and install. Very stable when using. Folds up and doesn't take up much room - going to take it on a trip next month.

I had leg surgery and my bed is soooo tall. I was scared how sturdy this item was due to my fear of hurting myself again. But it is very sturdy and on top of it all I have pockets that have helped me hold so many things that are needed such as meds, ear plugs, my wallet, even deodorant. I put my cell phone charger through the side of it and wrapped it around so now my charger doesn’t fall and I put my phone in the pocket and charge it.
