  • Easy process with fast results 😊
Size: 1000+ Items Tested
I recently took the Advanced Food Intolerance Test, and overall, I had a positive experience with the process. The test was easy to use, with clear instructions on how to collect and submit my hair sample. The turnaround time was quick, and I received a detailed report outlining my potential food and other intolerances. One of the things I appreciated most was how comprehensive the results were. The report identified a range of foods and other things that may be triggering symptoms, including common allergens and less obvious culprits. It also provided some guidance on how to adjust my diet accordingly, which was helpful. If you’re experiencing unexplained digestive issues, skin problems, or fatigue and suspect food intolerance might be the cause, this test could be a good starting point. ... show more

  • Life changing!
Size: 1000+ Items Tested
The reviews for this seem pretty good, so even though I could not use FSA funds, I decided it would be worth trying. I was blown away by the results! I knew I had a dairy sensitivity and assumed it was lactose. Lactose showed up as moderate reaction, however, there was a dairy protein that was high, which I never would’ve considered. Another surprise was cinnamon, which I use in many things. I stopped using cinnamon and immediately the reflux I was experiencing after certain meals was gone. It showed that I was low on certain vitamins and minerals, which after reading about them made sense given that I am vegetarian. I highly recommend this test. It’s super easy to send in a hair sample and I believe the results to be accurate and incredibly beneficial. Plus, it includes so much information! The cost is very reasonable, especially when you consider the price of other diagnostic tests and medical treatments that this can help avoid. ... show more

  • One piece of the puzzle
Size: 750+ Items Tested
I recently tried the Everlywell Food Sensitivity Test and overall, I had a positive experience. The method of using a hair sample was straightforward and convenient, making the test easy to complete at home. The delivery was relatively quick as well, taking only about 10 days from start to finish. The report provided was detailed and clear, offering a comprehensive breakdown of potential food sensitivities. I appreciated the visual layout and the explanations that made the results easy to understand. However, I found the results to be somewhat unconvincing. While the report was thorough, I'm not entirely certain about the accuracy of the sensitivities identified. It would have been helpful to have more information on how to interpret and act on the findings. Overall, it's a handy tool for gaining some insights into potential food sensitivities, but I would recommend using it as one piece of the puzzle rather than relying solely on the results. ... show more

  • Quick and helpful results!
Size: 750+ Items Premium
I am very happy with this kit and pleased with the clarity of the results! It was easy to communicate with the lab and the results were displayed in a way that was simple for me to understand. For the longest time I have been wondering about any food sensitivities and I am shocked to find out about the things I should be avoiding!! I look forward to improving my gut health with these results. ... show more

  • Great Test with All- Encompassing Results
Size: 1000+ Items Tested
This test cleared up a lot of questions for me, especially concerning wheat and dairy sensitivities. Besides these basic concerns of mine, I now have so much more information about food, drink and drinks which may be inflammatory causing. Now I know why I felt a little off after eating or drinking certain things. It also covered vitamin deficiencies and gut biomes, also most informative. Well worth the price. ... show more

  • AFIL premium lab kit
Size: 1000+ Items Premium
I bought the premium kit. First thing to do is to go on myafil.com and register your kit. The test kit has a wonderful booklet that walks you through all the steps you need to do to obtain your test sample. Getting your sample is easy. Cut 10 or more hair strands close to your scalp, trim the hair down to about .5 to 2 inches long (cut the ends off furthest away from your scalp), put the sample into the test tube, put the test tube into the small bag and seal. Put the test tube bag into the box your kit came in (make sure to remove the white shipping bag and shipping label from the box) and seal, place box in the the plastic white shipping bag and seal, place shipping label on the bag and drop off at the post office. Once the lab had my sample it was just a couple days before they had my results. Their website is easy to maneuver and has a lot of information regarding your results. This was a good buy and I also bought my daughter a kit. ... show more
