As we know, when it comes to having any kind of test done either the doctors don't want to do it or it's going to cost a lot of money to have the test done if you don't have insurance. This is a great way to have the test done that doesn't cost a whole lot of money and has really accurate results in a pretty short amount of time. Now, I went into this test with a pretty good idea of how it would turn out already. I was already almost pretty sure that I did not have PCOS. I wasn't 100% but I was still fairly certain because I didn't have many of the symptoms. But I wanted to go ahead and give this test a shot because it's better to take the test and be sure than to not and then to find out later that you actually do have it. Anyway, I followed the directions that were super easy to read and understand. There was even a video you could watch that showed how to do everything from getting your blood sample to getting your saliva sample. The kit comes with everything you need to take all your samples and to send everything back, including the prepaid envelope to send everything back to their labs for testing. Once I got my samples sent back, it took about three business days for me to get my results and they ended up calling me about my results, which I totally missed the phone call but I was able to either call them back to discuss my results or look at everything online and call or talk to someone online about the results. So, everything is done the way that is most comfortable for you. Everything was safe and confidential and all the results can be sent and shared with your doctor so that a treatment plan can be started with your doctor if needed. This was such an easy test to do and I am very happy with how fast I got the results back and with the results themselves. I feel like they were very accurate and the results were sent to my doctor for evaluation and for follow-up. Everything went great and couldn't be happier with this test and with this company. Totally recommend it for people who want a low-cost way to test for things who don't want to pay out a lot of money they don't have but need to test for things that they think they need to be tested for. A great alternative to healthcare and putting our healthcare in our hands for once.

After waiting months for my cycle to line up with their delivery days,I was perplexed by how a finger prick could possibly produce that much blood. I would have to slice my finger to fill that vile. This test costs too much for it to be wasted. After over a hour of trying, I could barely get enough. If this the only method for them to collect data,they need to stop. I don't see how they could produce accurate data.

Wow! You need to do your homework before starting this test. The collection process is explained in the booklet, plus there are online videos at the company's website and online. It is important to read the instructions thoroughly before starting the test. There is also a little computer work to do at the company's website. ***The specimen collection has to be done at a certain time during the day (M-F) before eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth, and you are supposed to be in a low-stress frame of mind.*** In some cases, the test has to be done at a certain time during the month also. The samples then need to be mailed out the same day at a UPS drop box that actually goes out that same day. The saliva collection part was easy enough. No issues there. The blood test was a little more nerve-wracking. I don't mind someone else taking blood from me, but I am not a fan of deliberately jabbing my finger and trying to wring the blood out of it to fill the little specimen bottle to the line. It is like trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip. Meanwhile, I am thinking, "I hope I am doing this right. I hope I don't knock the bottle over." Then when you can't squeeze any more blood out of one finger, you have to jab another finger. You actually get four lancets in case you need that many! How can you expect to be in a low-stress frame of mind after doing that blood collection process? I'm sure my cortisol will be high! It would have been easier if the company had included a little sterile pipette or something to draw up the blood. I have not yet received my results. However, results are expected to only take a day or so after the test is received by the company. The company posts your results on your private account located on their site. They also have nurses and physicians who you can consult with. My only complaint is the blood collection process. Otherwise, the company offers many tests that look like they would be valuable to do if your personal physician does not order the tests. The lab is a high level lab that also is used by physicians. I would give this product 5 stars and recommend it to others.

I’m soo glad I decided to do this test! I’ve thought about it for awhile now, and finally decided to take the plunge and get it done. Letsgetchecked -provides easy, clear instructions on how and when to take your test samples. In my case, it was saliva and a blood sample. They provided me with everything I needed to collect the samples and discreetly mail them back in. The saliva sample was as simple as holding a piece of sponge in your inner cheek for a few mins, and then placing it inside the tube they provide- the blood sample was a little more work, as you need to prick your finger (as if you were checking your blood sugar) and fill a vial with droplets of blood from the pricked finger, not too hard at all, but might be for some? After I collected both samples, I used the provided pre-paid UPS overnight mailer bag/box and shipped it off, I received an email the very next day, telling me my samples had arrived and were being processed by the lab. 2 days later, I had my results! A very friendly nurse called me, to go over results with me, and to help me talk with my general provider about my results. From start to finish, this was a very easy, discreet process that I highly recommend anyone trying! You do this all from the comfort of your home! You can’t beat that!
