It worked fine for my job (plastic plumbing pieces, in a tight space). Just be aware it is very light-weight (I'm not even sure if it's metal or plastic!)

    • Yes, it is cheap.
It is aluminum. I knew that, it isn't necessarily bad. If it were forged 7075, it could be stronger than some steels. It isn't, though. It looks cast, and has large voids/imperfections in a bad spot..where the fixed jaw meets the handle, a likely failure area even without the bad quality. It is intended for low torque use. Short handle. It might be good enough, and the light weight is nice for use in awkward locations. But it would be just as light with good workmanship. You get what you pay for. I worked (still do occasionally) on motorcycles starting in the '80s, mostly Honda and Yamaha. We saw a lot of old stuff, produced when such bikes were called cheap junk by many people. But they were not junk, I did and still do admire the quality and thought put into them, and guess what? Most people now think that those brands are pretty good. Decades of quietly making good stuff, even while constantly criticized resulted in a priceless good reputation. Whoever made this wrench is NOT striving for that. It actually wasn't marked. I think I know. So do you. I wouldn't buy a car from them, or get on an airplane from there. Their planes are probably good enough to retake that troublesome island off their coast, though. ... show more

feels super light almost like it's made of aluminum. Pincers are very small and could not grip the washer around my bathroom sink trap. But it was very inexpensive.

This is a "SANITARY SPANNER WRENCH" It is for a homeowner to used occasionally to remove, tighten, etc the locknut on plumbing pipes. I used it to replace two bathroom sink popup drain assemblies and would not have been able to do that otherwise. This is a wide mouth, short handle, lightweight wrench. I find it most useful for sink and toilet fittings. It will fit a wide range of fittings from the stopcock nut on the underside of a toilet tank, to the drain on a bathroom sink, to the hex rings on the P-trap or S-traps under sinks, to the shower head flats to tighten the head to the pipe from the wall. The short handle allows you to spin it around, especially useful as the drains are often in a small cabinet, out of sight. It is not a precision instrument, nor does it need to be to ably perform its job. As the images reveal, the wrench is 8 inches long, and will fit fittings as small as the tubing fittings for hot and cold water supplies, to as large as the large nut on a sink drain in the kitchen. You can buy from Temu for half the price. Lot of play in jaws. Shipping from this seller is slow. Looks way better than it is. It will go on my lesson learned wall.
