Grabbed this for my 8 month old to try and work on our motor skills and object permanence & so far it’s a hit! He hasn’t quite figured out how to put the balls in himself, but gets all giddy and excited when it rolls down and has been independently playing for 15minutes straight with the balls and flipping the wood over. I like the colors, it’s bright without being tacky and each ball is a different texture which is great. There is a plastic rattle, a hollow wood and foam/velour type ball. My 9 month old loves this toys, the balls are her favorite and she will just play with those. But the ball drop is nice and sturdy, once my daughter figures out how to put the ball in the hole I think she will enjoy the toy more. I really liked the simple design, wooden components, and pretty colors. My baby was a bit confused at first, but now that she is 10 months old, she has been figuring things out beautifully. This is a toy she likes to play with every day, and we even trade the balls out for a little pom-poms sometimes. she likes this stuff them into the box and then practice pulling them out for manual dexterity. I didn’t realize that each ball was a different weight and texture, and that is a nice added detail. Definitely a good toy for any baby ... show more

This looks just like the picture. Our baby enjoys the green ball because it rattles. The pink ball because it’s soft and the blue balll because it’s hard wood.

    • Small balls could pose choking hazard
This toy is fun and my baby got it right away. However, the balls are smaller than expected and although I'm not positive that they'd fit in her mouth, it's close enough that I am not comfortable letting her play with this unsupervised. The balls are loud when they go in the hole as other people mentioned, but it doesn't bother my baby. UPDATE: My baby chews on these balls all the time and is not able to fit them in her mouth. It still may be a concern when she is older (currently 11 months) because they are small, but at the moment I am no longer concerned and will continue to monitor her. ... show more

My baby loves to play with this and each ball is a different texture and weight, she really likes the green one cause it sounds like a rattle. Looks really nice, no assembly required, my little one is under a year and really likes it. She does like picking up the whole thing more than putting the balls in it, be careful not to get wacked with it by your baby lol ... show more

This is definitely a toy to have. My granddaughter is just under a year and she plays with his toy all the time. She has mastered the skill to put it through the hole, which was incredibly exciting for all of us to watch for the first time. I think this toy is very reasonably priced and is well constructed. I love that each ball has different textures. One ball is a rattle, one is a hard ball and one is a soft cushy ball. I love that all the balls are different!
