    • Love seeing the outside temperature
This was a gift from my husband to me. He knows how often I’m checking the weather outside. Now I just have to glance at my Acu-Rite and I can see the time, weather inside and outside, the humidity and a visual picture of either sun, clouds, rain, lightning, or the moon. I’m loving this !     • Works OK. Missing a couple of features
Nice display. Shows outdoor and indoor temps, indoor humidity. Temp trend - rising/falling. Rudimentary weather forecasting. Night time shut off of display - adjustable. Displays time, but you have to set it yourself. No Internet connection. You may have to move outside sensor to get good reading. Sensor housing does NOT appear to be water resistant, so locate in sheltered area. A little pricey for what it does. Recommended if above comments don't prove a problem. ... show more

I searched hundreds of different digital clocks. This one met all elements I needed. Very clear display, bright. It has a learning weather forecaster. It also comes with an external temperature gauge. Best if all it sets itself when you plug it in. Nice to look at and my kid loves it. Would recommend. ... show more

I have 2 cons with this. The preset auto dining timer can’t be changed which is set to 9pm to 7am. After 7am it goes to sun mode which will light up the whole house. My second con would have to be the dimming setting it needs one more setting to lower the brightness. Other then that it’s pretty nice. Update: the clock now stopped working as of this morning. I ended up being late to work due to it shutting off and not powering back on. I replaced the batteries and tried another power adapter still no go. Stay away from this clock I have found a better option then this clock. Also you are not able to get in touch with support. ... show more

This is a great product, as soon as I wake up, I know how warm/cold it is outside. I can track how much humidity is in the house. Best part is the auto dim, makes it so much easier to fall asleep. I would definitely recommend.

What a disappointment! Original order was next day, on time, but wrong clock. Second order was next day, then the next day (repeat order status update 3 more times) and finally comes in 4 days after scheduled date. As I excitedly opened the box: 1. It was the wrong color 2. There was no outside sensor 3. I decided to open just to see if it was worth all the hassle and it was filthy with scratches on the screen, an obvious returned item. 4. After sanitizing it, I looked at the disorganization of the rolled up returned cord and plugged it in only to find it cutting in and out as I was holding the clock, so either the cord piece was bad or the clock port. I can't give a fair review on the clock because I couldn't try all the features, since the outside sensor was missing. I will assume this clock was bad or abused by the original customer(s). The only positive I can give regarding my experience was that the number lighting and dimming feature, which was part of the buying point for me, was good. I will be returning this and the original wrong clock sent to me later today. ... show more

I have shopped regularly at Amazon since it was no more than a glorified book store and this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review of a purchase. After being disappointed with two previous weather station/alarm clocks the AcuRite totally surprised me with its ease of use and how much technology it contains for relatively little money. Talk about an easy setup...although it does not link to the atomic clock like some models, the instant I plugged this baby in it registered the exact time and date. The only things I had to manually set were the alarm time and the degree of screen brightness I wanted. Both were no fuss, no muss. The indoor and outdoor temperature readings seem accurate but the little guy requires a week or so to “learn” and compute a number of local variables before it will provide an accurate forecast. And as a very thoughtful added touch the AcuRite provides a handy lighted port to charge my cell phone. What’s not to like? ... show more
