These pens are wonderful! I love that there are many lovely colors and that each pen offers two tips, one a broader point, and the other end a slim fine point. I like that some of my paintings require writing and to do that with a brush is tiring. I also like that friends have given me paint by number and the areas are just dots and difficult to keep neatly in the lines. The pens work wonderful for this! Sometimes I just take the design on the canvas and use my pens and freestyle using my own ideas and color choices. With so many pen colors to pick, this is a real treat! Love these pens. Honestly I’ve been an Amazon customer for 20 years and this is the FIRST product review I’ve ever felt necessary to se incredible paint markers are perfection!! quite literally I am contemplating even picking up another paintbrush for the next week… These are all I need! Right when you pop the cap for the first time on one of these markers, they immediately paint beautifully! I love both ends, but the brush tip is astounding! Typically brushed tips are too flimsy and I never use them… But these are firm but delicate and are perfect for flower. Petals! The flow is amazing. I have not had to shake a single marker yet! Typically I’m too frustrated with my markers after two rocks that I put them away! The constant banging to get them to work is ridiculous! But not with these, that is absolutely not the case!! The coverage is fantastic even if I were using regular paint I would do 2 to 3 coats, and that’s almost not even necessary with these markers, even painting directly onto a black painted rock! These markers are vibrant and consistent and they don’t skip or pick up wet paint when going over an area already painted on! I will likely never buy another brand acrylic paint markers than these! I am sold for life! These are fantastic for new painters, and even professional painters! Definitely a magic tool to keep in my arsenal and close at all times! Way to go! I could not have asked for a better product! The last thing I would like to mention is that the cost is impeccable! I did get these on a sale day, which ultimately is what led me to try them to begin with, but honestly I would pay upwards of $20-$30 for this set in a heartbeat! No question! ... show more

A friend of mine bought these for pumpkin decorating, and I like them so much I bought a set for myself. They are very good, very smooth, lots of pigment, I would definitely recommend them. One star docked because one side of one of my markers arrived with the cap off and that side was completely dried out. Not a huge deal, I would take off half a star, if I could. They may not be the highest quality paint pens on the market, but they do a very good job. The selection of colors is limited, but versatile, and the paint itself is quite opaque. I ever needed more than two coats. I really like that you don't have to prime the tips by pushing them in, and none of the markers have run dry even after using them for several projects. The brush pen side of the markers isn't super fragile, which I'm glad about, and so far all of mine are holding their shape just fine. I love these, I regret not getting the larger park but they were on the cheaper end so I wanted to test them out first. It comes with a tester sheet which is one of my favorite things. They dry fast, the colors are vibrant and opaque which I love! Theh also have a matte finish which is my preference as well. There are some that aren’t true to color but I just use the swatch sheet and I’m good. They don’t bleed do horribly like alcohol markers but recommend putting something behind the page either way. I also added some examples with my coloring pages so you can see the finish and get a visual of the quality. Overall definitely worth the price and I use them often! ... show more

These are perfect for all your artwork. I used them to outline designs painted on rocks. The dual tips come in handy, and the colors are bright. They also glide nicely on multiple surfaces.

I quite like them. Just do a test with each color before you use it. I don't know who labeled the colors, but I don't think they did a good job. The markers are great, the color names are NOT accurate.
