Our living room TV is mounted on the wall and I mounted our PS5 behind that. Do yourself a favor and install one of those recessed media boxes so that you can run all your cords into the wall behind the TV and out to where you need them, out of sight. When all the cords are hidden, this thing really shines and it fully realized. It literally just appears to float on the wall and you can't even see the bracket which really drives it home. It goes with our minimalist living room "vibe" so well. However, you can also really flesh this out to full-nerd judging by the photos I am seeing from other users (neon lights, controller hangers, etc.) I was nervous to trust a third-party bracket to hold my expensive (and hard-to-get!) video game investment but I have zero questions about the quality or the ability to hold it. I DID opt to use slightly larger wall anchors for going in the wall because the ones provided just seemed a tad small for the application, but that's just my preference. I'm not an engineer and can't tell you what size anchor goes to what size screw but I just felt better using larger ones I had that worked with the provided screws. If you have the ability to hit a stud, and not use the wall anchors at all, you're really going to be set. Either way, this thing is on the wall to stay unless someone comes and literally hangs on it and tries to rip it off. The bracket itself is a solid and stiff piece of metal with nice welds and bends and it could pass as being one of Sony's official accessories for the PS5. It comes with all necessary hardware and a set of instructions to go off, not that you really need them to hang this. I installed this mount before I tested that it fit my PS5. I didn’t pay attention that it didn’t fit the slim but that was no one’s fault but my own. I ended up returning the mount and purchasing the slim fit from their website. Luckily, all the holes I had put it installing the first one, lined up with the one for the slim fit so it was easy install for both. I would definitely recommend. This mount was super simple and easy to install. I needed this to tuck a PS5 behind an 86” TV and away from our toddler’s hands. It does the job and does it perfectly. Only wish I bought controller mount bundle! Note: I used my own wood screws and a drill to fasten the mount to a stud so I cannot comment on the screw issues other customers had. If fastening to a stud is not ideal for you, I highly recommend using EZ Anchor drywall anchors rather than the ones provided. Does what it claims. Easy to install. I recommend screwing into a stud to get the most secure attachment. The install was very straight forward. Use a drill bit for the pilot hole. Someone claimed the screws broke and I suspect they tried drilling the screw into the stud without making a pilot hole first. The screws aren't anything fancy, but they do work and will make it secure to the wall. I used the screw from the ps5 vertical mount and a different placement for the set screw on the bottom of the ps5 because I wanted it to be mounted further inward towards the center of the TV. I had to jerry rig it a bit by using like 5 different sized washers because of the screw length lol. It's a temp solution and I definitely plan to get the proper length (I won't). It's not perfect or pretty but it keeps it very secure. This thing doesn't budge at all. It's a fairly cheap solution to keep the area clean and clutter free. ... show more
