I have had no issues with this monitor after I convinced my computer that the monitor didn't have speakers and it should go back to using my old speakers for sound (as a competent computer user, this took about an hour). Once that issue was resolved, it was basically plug and go with this. The picture quality is great in my opinion. I stream videos on it along with general computer use. I needed to replace one of my monitors when it stopped working, and this one does the trick! However, it is an older monitor, so if you have a brand new PC, you might need to get a special cable to connect the older connectors on this monitor to the newer video ports on the graphics card. I run a 4k 32" as my main screen for spreadsheet modeling. The 27" is for email and support documents. My 17" notebook is for personal email and overflow. The Acer replaces a decade old screen (I can't even remember the make) that worked well. In fact, the only reason I replaced it was because I thought it had died. I only discovered the on/off button after I received this. Rather than toss the old screen, I gave to a neighbor who was quite happy with the unexpected gift. The one thing that almost got me to return this is the fixed height. I would have preferred an adjustable height, but not enough to go through the hassle of swapping. I bought two of these on Prime Day after an extensive search, to match the ports on my work docking station. I work at home and needed some more screen real estate. I opened these up, threw the HDMI cables in a drawer, and hooked up my DisplayPort cables, plugged in the monitors, and they just worked. What a difference from the old TV I was using before!
