Description

ACDelco Specialty Air Lift Shocks are designed to help provide better handling for temporary situations, such as when a vehicle hauls a heavy load or tows a trailer. They have an adjustable air pressure, between 25 and 200 psi, and up to 1,100 lbs (per pair) of load-carrying capacity. Under loaded conditions, these shocks help maintain level vehicle height by adding or releasing air as needed, assisting in the stabilization of alignment angles, reducing other suspension component wear, improving handling, and reducing the risk of bottoming out. ACDelco Specialty Air Lift Shocks are ideal for temporary load hauling, including towing boats and trailers. Not to exceed vehicle GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). Product does not increase payload.

  • Perfect for older full frame rear coil spring suspension cars.
For any GM vehicle with a full frame design , truck or passenger vehicle applications. Install is easy , having a good high pressure air source to fill the shocks to at least 150psi that is needed to get the best ride and height- lift you would like to see on an older car, little higher in the rear than front end. No complaints, instructions are simple. they ride very smooth but responsive. This is the the exact ride height i was shooting for in the rear 3in lift front has new springs and GM ac delco coil over cargo springs. Gets rid of the low rider look and rides amazing. ... show more

Perfecto fit for rear suspension V4P towing package. You’ll need to run the New airlines supplied. But I’m super happy with my purchase

  • Strong stable stiff and steady!
It definitely raised the car up about 2 or 3 inches. I did this temporarily until I put my hydros on this summer..I had 3 people in the back seat no rubbing. I totally recommend these for the price point.

  • When working on my 68 chevy, very tight space top passenger side, otherwise it was pretty easy.
I'm old school and since I became an adult I have had new cars and only kept them for a few years never really had to change shocks or struts, last time I changed a shock they cost $7 for the front and air shocks were $14, so to find out the cost close to $100 I was sticker shock, but how times have changed, to say I'm satisfied to certain degree? One thing I didn't like is the air fitting where you actually fill the shocks with air is plastic, when they use to be metal is a bummer. ... show more

  • Complete easy to install kit
Kit is complete with air hose and fittings. Easy to install on my application. Added 2 inches of extra lift to the back of my classic Impala.

  • Perfect Fit
I ordered these for my 67 Impala that needed a little help in lifting the back of the car. I only have to keep about 50 lbs of air in them to do the job. The car has new springs all the way around and while waiting for the front springs to settle in the back was still a little low. For the money a name you can trust an easy install you cant go wrong. ... show more
