Features

  • General Usage: Applicable with copper, copper alloys, alumiumn and alumiumn alloy, woodworking, cast iron, steels, carbon steels, alloy steels and stainless steel materials. Best use for materials HRC less than 30.
  • Solide Carbide: The material is European origin ultra fine grain carbide. The carbide rod we select is made with the finest tungsten carbide powder and cobalt, using the best ratio to achieve the most ideal hardness. It is stable and has excellent wear-resistance of the material. It significantly enhances the tool's lifespan and keeps the end mill sharp. It also helps keep the surface quality of your work-piece at the best level possible.
  • AlTiN Coating: It is a strong coating that's coated at temperatures between 450C to 475C. It is able to provide high wear resistance, lubricity, exceptional oxidation resistance, extreme hardness, and excellent abrasive wear resistance. It has higher reliability in dry operations, heat resistance, hard machining, and the resistance can be reduced.
  • Large Flute Gullet: 2 flute end mills have a larger gullet so there's more chip clearance. It is suitable for cutting softer materials such as aluminum and non-ferrous alloys. Therefore, a tools strength is less of a concern. A tool can be fed faster, and larger material removal rate is facilitated by the large flute valleys of 2 flute tools. 2 flute end mills are recommended to be used at a slower speed when working with steel.
  • 35 degree Helix: 2 Flute Square Endmill, 5/16" Diameter, 25/32" Cutting Length, 5/2" Overall Length, 5/16" Shank.

  • My main 3/8 bit.
Size: 3/8 in Number of Items: 1
This. It has provided me with dozens of mortises for decorative inlays on my design planter boxes. Instead of a table saw I usually opt to use a router table for my decorative posts. This router bit makes easy work of the decorative grooves. The bit is sharp and makes clean cuts. I expect this bit to last a good while. I recommend ... show more

  • Makes a very smooth cut.
Size: 3/8 in Number of Items: 1
I am using the ACCUCUT 2 Flute 3/8” Carbide Square End Mill in a woodworking shop. I work with hardwoods like Maple, Walnut, and White Oak. I appreciate the way this Carbide Bit makes fast and clean cuts in hard woods. I have used it primarily to shape Native American Style Flutes made of Hard Maple. This is probably not the intended use, but it is how I am using it. I recommend the ACCUCUT Carbide tool bits for any precision work on hardwoods. ... show more

  • High quality end mills
Size: 1/8 in Number of Items: 5
These are quite hard and sharp mills. I see no issues with quality. I have not yet used them on anything harder than aluminum, but no problems thus far. Narrower mills generally there is a risk of breakage if you aren't careful. I feel good about these; that they can handle normal, careful use without breaking due to the high quality. For 1/8 inch mills the unit cost is over five dollars which is not unreasonable but also not a bargain, thus I rate the product four stars overall. ... show more

  • Needs cutting specs
Size: 5/16 in (Standard Shank) Number of Items: 4
Ordered these solid carbide 2 flute endmills and wanted to program the cnc to make a few cuts. I searched online, on the listing, at the manufacturers website and I am unable to locate the cutting specs for these endmills. Speeds and feeds are everything for making a cut, and every manufacturer has these specs posted on their sites or include them with an endmill. These endmills are sharp, they weigh about what they should, but without proper cutting information, I pretty much can't program my cnc for them. 3 stars ... show more

  • Quality bit
Size: 3/8 in Number of Items: 1
Worked very well in the drill press, no milling machine needed. Strong and durable, the tip and cutting edge stayed sharp, made from good hardened steel. Used bit in converted mini lathe to machine parts as well. Just as good quality as name brand bits.

  • Very Sharp
Size: 3/8 in Number of Items: 1
I used this ACCUCUT I2KES 3/8 Carbide Square End Mill to cut some 3/8 holes in aluminum. I had several to make and this End Mill performed without any issues at all. The two flutes kept the debris out of the holes well. Even after 15 holes, in aluminum, at 3/4 inch each, it was cutting the same on the last one as it did the first hole. Yes, it was hot but not nearly as hot as several others I have used. I do mostly woodwork so I want to see how this End Mill will perform in some hard woods I have. It's an excellent buy. Go for it! ... show more

  • Well made, sharp carbide endmill
Size: 3/8 in Number of Items: 1
This 3/8 Accucut endmill is a nicely made cutter. I generally only use 2 flute cutters for non ferrous metals so most of my testing was in 7075-T6 aluminum. The cutter performed admirably. I kept the depths of cut reasonable (about .200 or so) and only pushed the cutter to moderate feeds at 3500 RPM or so. It cut great. No chatter. It showed zero signs of wear and I was probably too gentle with it but I want to use it again one day. I'm mostly happy with this cutter. I deducted 1 star because the shank was about .3745. For me, the only issue the size presented was my collet wanted to release it a little too quickly when I unlocked the drawbar. ... show more
