  • Cnc bits
The media could not be loaded. These set of bits are definitely worth buying. The only downfall is they are not labeled. I've used the .8mm bit to carve in aluminum. These are easy to break so I set the depth pass at .001" on my xcarve machine. I highly recommend and I will buy more for extras.

  • Grinding tolerance
The corn mill bits work great from wood to mild steel, on a router or milling machine the flat and ball end mills work about fine for soft materials. On the outer edge of each flute of the 2-flute mills, there is a continuous band of unground steel, which should taper inward- this causes the tool to rub slightly. There is visible variation in the depth of the grinding, causing the unground section to be sized differently along the bit, and even between multiple bit there is a visible difference. I did find two ball end mills that had good edges near the bottom, which I'm pleased with, I just have a hard time understanding how you get so much variation on such a small scale. You get what you pay for, and for what you pay for this is a decent set. ... show more

  • Good for Non-Metals, Poor for Aluminum
These milling bits work great for non-metal materials like wood, plastic, or composites. However, when it comes to cutting aluminum, they fall short. While the description claims they can handle aluminum, in practice, you’ll get one use at best before the bit dulls or wears out. If you’re planning to cut aluminum, look for higher-quality bits specifically designed for metals. For non-metal projects, though, they perform well and are worth considering. Bottom Line: If you’re sticking to non-metal materials, these bits are fine. But if aluminum is part of your project, look elsewhere for a more durable solution. ... show more
