Easy to install, easy to switch. I got this as a cheaper option to install my level 2 charger (240v/16a) from my dryer plug and it does exactly what it should. My ev is a ford energi , plug in hybrid but I’m sure if it works for mine and a Tesla it probably works for any. The cables from either end aren’t very long, so think out your extension cord needs as well. ... show more

I bought this to plug into my dryer receptical. One lead goes to the dryer and the other to my EV. I simply switch to whichever function I need. Very convenient. I'd buy it again.

Much less expensive than the automatic-switch splitters. Also seems sturdier. I had a splitvolt and it stopped working after 7 months. I have hope this will be a better solution.

I tried the product and it’s way over priced. I had a Y cable without the switch that I purchased for 37$ that’s one expensive switch. Seller says returns accepted and so what’s to lose? I sent it back when I saw it and was charged 30$ for the privilege of buying it. Don’t buy this. Better and safer products out there. Seller wasn’t easy to work with. ... show more

I was concerned about my tenant tripping the 220 volt circuit breaker. This adapter has a selector switch that allows my tenant to charge his EV or dry his clothes but not at the same time! No problems now!
