This cot is as described in the video. It is very well constructed and sturdy (holds up to 900 lbs.) It is easy to get out of bag and pop open -- no trouble, It is, also, easy to take down and put in carry bag. The bag containing cot is about 15 lb., so it is not super lightweight but I assume that is because of the heavy duty construction. My only negative is, as others have already stated, I wish the mattress fit in the bag with the cot. The Mattress is fluffy and comfortable and once open does expand bigger. When that happens, it is very awkward to carry the closed up cot on your shoulder and have this quite large mattress folded in half and carried that way. I would suggest that the carry bag be a little larger and then it is up to each individual to tightly roll the mattress and insert it in the bag alongside the cot. Purchased for my Dad to sleep in the same room as my Papa who has dementia. The cot is not to heavy and easy to set up for one person. It’s sturdy quality and not too bulky. The only issue is the ties on the sides of the padding are too short for tying to keep the pad in place and I fear as thin as they are, will be torn off in no time. I wish they were made of a thicker, longer and better quality, sewn in better as well. ... show more

Product is as described. It's sturdy and fairly easy to set up. I say fairly easy because I had to push down pretty hard to get the center joints to snap into place but that could be due to being new. It folded up easier than unfolding. It's as comfortable as a cot could be. The only real complaints are the small nut that popped off from somewhere (I haven't examined it yet to know where it came off of), and that it is quite bulky. It folded down well and took little space. It was sturdy and solid, and quite comfortable. The cotton pad topper is nice and the ability to transform into a lounge chair is great. I was concerned for camping this year due to a back injury. This made my favorite getaway with my family doable. Disclaimer - not using this for camping (I mean I guess if I do go camping I’ll bring it). I used this because I was moving into a new apartment and my actual mattress hadn’t been delivered yet. I’m also planning on using it as a guest bed if I have people stay over. It’s pretty easy to put together, very very sturdy (doesnt creak or wobble at all even on carpet), and the mattress is actually pretty comfortable. It’s not going to give you the support of a regular mattress, but it’s decently soft and will be ok for a couple nights. I like how easily you can pack it up but I do wish the mattress fit into the travel bag. For the price it’s excellent, definitely a good thing to have. ... show more

I got really tired of air mattresses when I go camping, or go to stay in Nevada with relatives. Air mattresses always seem to go flat on me. I also decided to purchase this because I am approaching my forties and it is becoming more difficult to get off the ground. My dad does not have an extra guest bedroom with a bed, and he's very reluctant to loan me his expensive hunting cot because I'm almost bigger than he is! I ordered one of these and I really like it. I don't expect the quilted pad to last long. It's like a thick comforter. It's not nearly as fluffy thick as the picture show, much like the other reviews say. It comes packed in a vacuum sealed bag, and you have to let it fluff out. I don't recommend fluffing it in the dryer, as other reviews say it is ruined if you wash it. I have seen other ads recommend dry cleaning it. That's weird, why would you dry clean camp gear? I didn't let that stop me from ordering it. This is a quick set up cot so I can spend more time fishing and stuff. You just pull it apart and squish it up. I can put a better pad on it and still use the quilted pad like a pillow top. Feels just like a bed though if you have some kind of extra foam mattress for it. They sell them on Amazon. It's a game changer. One thing that never should have happened though, when it came it had a weird gross stain on the pillow headrest. It is always a hassle returning big heavy bulky items like this. If I bought it at a local store it would have gone right back. A stain is gross not knowing what it is. It should have never been delivered that way. That was unacceptable. Some hot water and Dawn dish soap, scrubbing with a washcloth remove the stain. It could have been oil from a factory sewing machine or something in the manufacturing. I'm not too worried about it as I use a pad or cover on it anyways. I hate to rate this so low at three stars, but the stain and the quilted pad weren't that great. If it had not come with a stain on it I could have easily rated it four stars. Maybe yours will deliver fine. I can get a 3 inch thick foam pad for $20 at local store. I can cover it with a sleeping bag sheet liner and I'll be in business. Refer to other photos and reviews, they pretty much show what I got. *Update I have slept on this cot for two nights in my living room to try it out. I slept on it like a log, almost got better sleep than I do in my regular bed. I recommend the addition of a foam mattress and the pad it comes with as a pillow top as I show in my pictures. I have added pictures with this update showing an additional foam mattress bright green. It is still comfortable enough for a wonderful nap just the way it comes, but the pictures show a fluffier pad. *Update I had to take my rating back down to three stars. A plastic joint at the point where the frame bars make an X it broke. Screw tore out of the plastic. Attempting to prevent a return, I was able to repair it myself by taking the frame apart by the screws. I was able to repair the plastic joint and I put it all back together. I expect another one to break if I'm not careful. I got to go ahead and say this cot is probably not as good as I thought. It's cheap all the way around and the only thing I can say is the weight limit is falsely advertised as well as the quilted pads fluffiness. The only part that seems to be accurate is the cloth part of the cot. Even though I totally repaired it, I may return it after all. I haven't decided ... show more

Then camping all my life but now getting up-and-down from the ground is not an option. This cot takes care of that. Sturdy, easy to set up and very comfortable with the mattress for sleeping, without a good lounger in any of several positions. Great quality gor the price.

I bought this cot for camping. It arrived on time exactly as described. I liked the added width and height. Much easier for these old knees to get up off of. The pad is not nearly thick enough to keep the metal bars from poking especially the middle cross bar directly under the hips. I added a thick sleeping bag but after the 2nd night it started sagging which made sleeping uncomfortable. Trying to get up, sitting on the side, my butt was sagging below my knees and made it harder to get off since the side bar stayed sturdy under the knees. I bought the bigger cot since I am just under 300lbs. I felt very comfortable with the size and my small dog slept by my feet comfortably. Definitely have to figure out a thicker pad to make up for sagging and comfort. It is definitely sturdy for more weight but anyone over 250lbs, be prepared to find a lot more padding for this cot.
