The Abducktion game is a fun and quirky strategy game. The materials are built very well, and while we have only played the game once so far, the materials seem like they are built to last. The game is a little challenging to figure out initially, but we observed that it would be possible to play this game at various levels of competition and challenge. If you really like to think ahead and strategize, the opportunity exists; but, if you simply want a fun time without too much mental challenge, the game can be played at this level too. I really like the fact that this game works well for two people -- not easy to find these days! -- but it also can be played with three or four, or even by yourself. We did find that the cards are a little difficult to shuffle due to stiffness and a coating, but it does seem like they are build to last. I also like that there aren't any disposable materials, such as paper score sheets or pencils, that will eventually have to be replaced. Overall, I'm looking forward to playing this game again! ... show more

This game is indeed weirdly strategic! And it’s a quality experience from start to finish. The packaging is thoughtfully and beautifully designed, vibrant graphics, sturdy construction, well-made and beautiful cards, boards, and pieces (no sloppy painting or casting issues on these ducks!) and all have their spot in the box so you’re set up for a smooth setup the next time you play! We enjoyed both the humor and simplicity of the instructions. And the expansion pack we just received gave us the same experience - I was particularly delighted by the fact that the box is the same height and width as the one for the base game, so storing them together is so satisfying, haha! Quickly became one of our favorite family games. Easy to teach, and the spaceship makes for a fun tactile experience. Definitely looking at adding the expansion in the future.

This is not necessarily a good game for a board game night, but a few people who live puzzles will love it. It's a little like those colored disk logic books, if you know what I mean. Very fun and works the brain. Worth the expansion pack.

So much fun , and sometimes difficult, challenges 🙂 love it so much! The spaceship has a terrible toxic smell though. Still though we really love the game

Very fun game, easy to learn. Love all the cute ducks, the play is surprisingly strategic, great ups and downs hard to predict who is going to win until the end. Very replayable.

One of my favorite games so far! Love the design and the solo player factor is fun when there is no one to play with. Definitely reccomend this game. The expansion pack is also a great addition.
