Light compression abdominal binder…might be useful depending on your needs/ amount of use. I had intestinal hernia surgery years ago- I currently have another bulge that needs to be repaired. When doing heavy lifting I wear an abdominal binder as to not “pop out my guts “. This one fits nicely- I got a medium- it would fit both small and medium people since it is adjustable…you just wrap it around your waist and secure with the Velcro. Nice soft fabric. It offers mild compression- I wouldn’t wear it when I do heavy lifting/work…it isn’t strong enough. I question the durability of it…the fabric is stretchy and seems like it will last, but the Velcro just goes on the fabric- you can see the picture after one use…it’s tearing up the fabric. It’s just a matter of time until that Velcro doesn’t grab anymore. ... show more

I'm required to either wear a binder or risk hernia surgery, so I wear a binder 24 hrs a day. I'm always looking to try different binders because they each have pros and cons. Some are to soft, or the bunch up with repeated use. This particular binder features strong compression because of its woven material. The drawback is that the material over time causes skin irritation. So be aware of that but if you value strong compression over comfort, then this is a solid choice. ... show more
