I received my first one and it didn't function properly. After contacting the seller and trying different remedies that didn't work, they decided to send me a brand new one. This one works perfectly. I used a rennet brand ice cream mix from the store and after putting it in and starting it. 60 minutes later I had this yummy treat. Very simple to use and extremely easy to clean. It is not as good as the cuisinart. Ice cream was not thick enough. Maybe needs much more time. Will Try again. To be fair, I didn't follow their recipe. I use coconut cream and maple syrup. Works great with the cuisinart.
