I've bought these before, and they work well in most applications except for radios. The protection circuitry wipes out AM reception. For all other uses these batteries are the best because of their 1.5 VDC rating. NOTE! You must use ONLY the supplied Hixon charger!

Another brand of lithium AA rechargeables when installed in my Water Pic Floser would constantly surge from low speed to high speed requiring the use of lower 1.2 voltage output metal hydride rechargeables. Wanted the higher performance of a 1.5 volt battery necessary for optimal performance of the floser. These fit the bill and are designed to take 3 times more charge cycles than the other brand of lithium batteries and even 50% more charge cycles than most high capacity metal hydrides. Lithium batteries have a much better shelf life than metal hydrides that should be recharged before installing. Lithiums also charge up full in less than half the time of metal hydrides. This means a charged up set of 3 AA batteries can remain in the bathroom ready to install the very moment needed for the floser. Lithium rechargeables are by far the best type of rechargeable. You can top them off, unlike alkaline you have to throw away when they start to have their power wane. They give you a full 1.5v the whole time. I don't buy any other kind and I'm phasing out all of my NiMH kind.

Put them in my digital camera. No problems so far. Can't say that for the set of Deleepow batteries I ordered at he same time. The Deleepow battteries trigger a fault light on my charger. The Hixons do not. Update: After 16 days of intermittant use the camera's "batttery empty" light came on. Three of the batteries had a full charge but one triggered a fault light on the charger. I ordered eight new Hixon batteries. None of the new batteries is triggering a fault light but another of the original four is. So out of 12 batteries 2 are now bad. I don't know what is causing these faults but it is expensive. Second update: One of the batteries is causing a "battery empty" warning and shutting the camera down. I use these batteries to power my front door security lock. It seemed to work pretty well. They came almost fully charged. The deal with the battery and the chargers is not bad but to buy just the batteries for for $22 is a little high. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase
