Love the chair so far. No problems the shipping company and seller provided great communication on everything. I assembled the chair myself and it went together easily. I only needed a little help getting the main chair assembly out of the box. There's a lot of different programs that this chair comes with and I've tried out about 25% of them and really like them so far. I haven't figured out how the heat works yet but I also haven't read the manual yet. I'm not a fan of the voice control yet but need to try it out more. Sometimes when I'm playing music it will activate the voice command and it will say "I'm here" during my massage which is a bit annoying. I'm 5'9" and the chair is very comfortable. I use the "shoulder tightness" program the most to loosen up my shoulder muscles which is the number one reason for getting the chair. I feel great right after the massage. Some people say this chair can be a little intense/forceful. There's an "office" program that has a massage in it that is the only one I've noticed can be a little uncomfortable while it is massaging around my hip bones. Other than that, I like the programs and the adjustability of the chair and am very glad I got this one. ... show more

Overall, I love this new chair. I've always wanted to get one, but figured they were just out of my price range. I looked for a long time, and I did so much research (my wife makes fun of how much research I do on big purchases like this). This chair has all the bells and whistles of a much higher quality chair I tested at a large store chain, but for 1/3 the price. I like how hard the back rollers go. Two bits of product feedback: I'm 6'2", and I'm just slightly too tall for the upper back rollers, but it's just barely, barely too short. Second, I wish there was a thigh massager, but I don't really see this feature on pretty much most brands of chairs. But overall, don't think twice if you need a good, feature-rich chair. ... show more

This is a great chair. The quality is nice, operates quietly. Really enjoying all the different massage options. Assembly was very easy. The instructions are towards the back of the user manual. Very comfortable for massage, but not sure I would just sit in it for a long period I'd time. I have still only used the pre-set options and have yet to create custom massage. Amazed at the way the rollers move. Soft or push deeper. Narrow and wider. His or uses all those movement during a massage. I use the full body stretch the most, which supprised me. It uses the air bags to shift your body aroundand is able to massage different parts of the muscle. I'm 6'4" so a little tall for the recommend height. The only part that it affects is the legs. I am able to adjust the chair to better accommodate, but I wish it had an add on leg extension. The heat option is nice as well as being able to put it in the front of your body. The speakers are not amazing but it is nice to have surrounding your head. What I don't like about the chair is that you have to select a massage first before you can turn on the heat or bluetooth or any other adjustments. When the cycle is over it all shuts off. I would prefer that you can set things up before and that it wouldn't be an abrupt end. My workaround is start a massage, adjust settings then pick the massage cycle that I want. If I want to go longer to start another cycle before the other one ends. I don't use the voice commands so no comment there. Overall very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

I was so happy to get this chair. Finally, a massage chair with all the bells and whistles and it did not stand up to what I expected. UPDATE: I received a phone call their customer service a few days after my review... This team, customer service to the technician, was AMAZING!!! Update #2 it is now March 26th, 2024. The technician reached out to me a little over a week ago. He told me that the main board needs to be replaced by the description of what I was telling him what was going on. The main board came within a week. I called Massage Chair Max and they told me that they needed time to find a technician in my area. Of course, they were closed over the weekend. I received another call from Massage Chair Max and they notified me that they were still looking for a technician in my area. The also explained to me that if I found a technician to replace the main board that they would pay for it. I find that very strange because most equipment would void your warranty if you or someone not authorized to replace such a part as mainboard. I cannot believe that they sent me instructions to replace the mainboard myself. Oh yeah, they did offer me a $100 refund back to my card. A $3500 chair or oversized paperweight in my loft area and the best that they could was $100. They also told me that if I wanted to return the chair that I would have to package the chair in the original boxing and if I didn't have the original boxing that I would have to purchase as box big enough. On top of that, I would have to pay a restock fee of $250. What am I missing here?!?! I did not buy an incredible large/heavy chair to practice lifting and carrying to my 2nd level of my house for exercise and back down again. AFTERMATH: There was a little of miscommunication but no need for details. I hate that I am not good with names but the two ladies that work in the corporate office for Massage Chair Max really went out of their way to rectify this situation. They found a company (Legendary Service Co) to come to my house and install the new main board and if they could not repair it, they are going to dissemble and package the chair for pickup and send me a brand new one. However, one of the ladies recommended that I look at another version of one of their massage chairs and I did, and I noticed an entire different chair that is coming out at the end of May. So, I decided to wait until the end of May to get the newer version of the chair. The new version is the Alfine A860 Athena 2024-Flagship Dual Mechanism Massage Chair. It will have everything that this chair has plus all the features of their last 2 or 3 models and the MAJOR plus is that it also has Over the Air (OTA) Wifi Software Updates. In all of my research I did not find a chair that has the feature that updates the chair automatically just like a cell phone. There may be some massage chairs out there that do have OTA, but not in this price range. GAME CHANGER!!!!! Some things may just happen for a reason because this new chair was NOT on their website when I started my research. Stay tuned... ... show more
