    • Some assembly required
The stand itself seems like it's made of pretty high quality materials. It also came with some better than usual tools to assemble the stand: a respectable phiips head screwdriver and a weird little plastic hammer which, turns out, wasn't needed. There are about a dozen screws to assemble the product. The vertical 'pole' part comes in 3 sections with two plastic inserts and two metal back plates to help keep the the 'pole' together and relatively stable. A few rubber wire guides are included to allow for some 'wire management. I question some of the design decisions here because they could've saved me (and you) quite a bit of the assembly work by just shipping that pole as a single piece with the wire guides and what-not already attached. Then the only thing you would have to do is attach it to the base, and to your vacuum's wall mounting bracket. The shipping box would've been a different shape (longer and narrower). But reducing the assembly time by 75% would've been greatly appreciated. Disclaimer: I'm not using this with a Dyson vacuum. Instead I'm using it with a similar AFNOP cordless stick-type vacuum which came with it's own simple plastic wall mount. So I had to modify my vacuum's plastic wall mount ever so slightly to attach it securely to this stand by drilling a simple countersunk hole through the plastic to align with the holes provided at the top of the stand. This does not at all take away from the product. If anything it's impressive that it's versatile enough that I could very easily make it work with another 'random' stick vacuum cleaner. Note that this stand does NOT include the actual part at the top that attaches to your vacuum. You're supposed to provide that and it should've come with your vacuum cleaner. Makes perfect sense since that allows you to use with a variety of different vacuum models. In my case, the stand is about a foot taller than is needed but it does do 'the job'. I guess the question I is whether ANY stand is actually necessary. I don't know about you but I store my vacuum cleaner in the closet when I'm not using it. And I don't have a power outlet in any closet so.. I'm probably not recharging my vacuum in there. Since the stick vacuum won't stand upright on it's own, I DO see the utility in the wall mounting bracket (which comes with the vacuum). Just not in a stand. To me, the vacuum stand is a solution looking for a problem to solve. One more bit of extra clutter that doesn't really help me out. Nothing wrong with the product and it does seem like it's made of high quality materials. I'm just at a loss to explain why anyone needs it. If you do need a vacuum stand for some reason, this seems like a good one. ... show more

I got this product, not knowing what to expect. I was greatly surprised. It is very well made, heavily built metal stand with good floor weight. I got this for my Dyson, to replace a closet setup that has never been convenient (alway in the way). I have a rather large house and have 2 stick vacs and like this well enough to get a second for use with my Non-Dyson stick vac (Bissel), even though I will need to modify the mounting of the charge plate. I'm very impressed with the quality, the packaging, the hardware (extras of each screw) and the instructions (minimal but easy to follow). It only took me 10 minutes to assemble with the included tools (another nice aspect for the price). I wish I had known about this stand sooner, it would have saved a lot of issues - like tripping on accessories or banging into the vac. Definitely worth the price for the build quality and the function it serves. ... show more

This is an easy to assemble well made sturdy cordless vacuum stand. No need to drill into the wall. It is a quality made and lightweight. I contains all of the needed hardware with a screwdriver and plastic hammer. The product assembles easily and I had no problems or issues. It feels solid when built. This is a great way to store your vacuum along with attachments instead of drilling into the wall to hold a vacuum mount. Another advantage over drilling holes into the wall is that the stand is lightweight so it can be moved easily to another location that has an electrical wall plug for charging the cordless vacuum. The stand has multiple brackets which snap into place easily. There are pre-drilled holes that allows attachment of most vacuum mounts. Overall, this is a good quality sturdy stand for a cordless vacuum. It assembles easily without fuss. No more drilling into the wall ! Thanks very much. ... show more
