First off, let's start off with a couple of facts. 1. I am 48 years old. 2. I am 6'2". 3. I weigh 270lbs. 4. I never really learned how to ride a skateboard. With all those fun facts, this thing is a neck breaking piece of fun! I have been flying around my neighborhood at 10mph. I think I can hit about 11. I don't expect this to hit the full speed with my weight. I love the remote control. It gives you a lot of control over the throttle. It had a little wheel that you control with your thumb. It's got a spring in it so that if you take your thumb off of it, it will turn off the board. The brake is nice and smooth. I don't expect it to lurch to a stop with me on it. It glides to a nice easy stop without throwing you forward. Now, to the reason I gave it a 4 stars. The description for this item states it can hold 264lbs. When you scroll down, there are 2 places that say max load is 180. Which is it? I think this is very deceiving and doesn't give a clear guidance on who can ride this. Overall, this is so much fun and it works for me. The description needs to be more clear and it should have pictures of the remote control to help people understand. I am going to be using this skateboard for a while to just ride around from house to house. ... show more
