Could not find the exact replacement for my water tank gravity inlet hose. My RV is a 2007, so I needed a replacement because of age/wear. I could not get it to not leak until I filled in the grooves with silicone. Once I did this, the hose clamps got a good grip with no leaks.

I have to say that I was disappointed when I was notified that my first review on this was not going to be posted. I was a poor review but I intended to add to it once I got my replacement. I have to commend Amazon for getting me my replacement so quickly. This tubing is high quality and was not damaged like the 1st one was. I read several reviews from people who have rvs that loved this product. That is why I bought it. However in my 22' class C rv the tubing had to fit onto a 90° elbow off a tight turn. The tubing did would not fit onto the elbow properly. I would have given it 5 stars if the tubing had been easier to work with. ... show more

The 3ft hose was all that I needed and it is pliable enough to bend around curves if you don't need the bend at the smooth zone. The smooth zone does not bend and where I slipped the smooth zone over the water inlet on the tank there was a bend needed and the flexible part crimped a bit. You won't be able to get a nice gradual curve to it because it just bends where the flexible areas are. The nice thing though, is that it seals really well at the smooth zone and is easy to clamp there because it is smooth. Good Luck with yours. ... show more

I tried to use this to repair a plumbing drain on my trailer. The sink is on the slide and I needed a flexible hose to move in and out with the slide. This tubing was too thick to bend correctly and would kink where it wasn’t supposed to to block the drain. The 3/4” previously installed did not have this problem. I ended up using a different flexible tubing that bend much easier. Installation was easy with some pipe clamps and would be great for something that didn’t have to move all the time. ... show more
