I live in a high humidity area of the mid south and I kid you not, I have this in my bedroom and it pulls humid air very nicely and quietly. I like the fact that it’s also a cool night light that change several different colors. It’s has a regular mode for maximum power and a quieter mode if you want to use it while you sleep. I bought this in an attempt to keep moisture out of my camper. It’s done an amazing job. You have a timer, you can turn the led lights on or off (I use as a night light for the kids, they change colors) it’s pretty quiet. Once the reserve container is full it shuts off automatically, during the summer I would empty this weekly, it has a option to run a drain line, I haven’t done that yet but it’s on my to do list. I purchased this for two reasons: 1) It's been hot lately and I leave the windows open at night, so it gets very humid in the morning. 2) I recently moved my bookshelf next to the window and needed to compromise by lowering the humidity so my books can be in good shape, and I'm very meticulous with them! I ordered 2 different dehumidifier brands Have to say my favorite is this one. The quality is top notch. It's easy to set up, doesn't blow hot air, picks up SO much water, is easy to clean and drain, and is small enough to fit on my bookshelf. Before, the humidity in this room would make it unbearable to be in at 80 degrees. I've been running this for about 2 weeks now, and I can survive and breathe even at 85 degrees. As you can see, the humidity is 45%; prior to this, it would be 80% at all times day or night. The cherry on the top is the design! :) Anyway, would highly recommend it! ... show more
