I love my new unit. Replaced a 12000 btu unit with this 18000 btu and it was an easy install. This works so much better. Runs quietly and does a great job. The most underrated feature is the auto setting. It's installed in a sunroom where it becomes cold at night but hot during the day. I set the temperature on auto to 70 and it automatically changes from heat to cool to keep the room comfortable. It also automatically adjust the fan speed. I love the flexibility of having the indoor and outdoor units separate. It allows for better air distribution and doesn't take up valuable window space. Installation was straightforward, and the unit has been performing excellently.

The unit was easy to install If u know what you’re doing I would suggest to get NYLOG BLUE To put on FLARS not the threads Pull a well deep vacuum on lines So far the unit been in a wk (Summer) it been gr8 It’s fixing to get cool nex wk In tenn. Like that all parts arrived on time. Instructions were okay, fairly easy diy. You will need to purchase a vacuum pump and gauges to clear the lines or pay $300 or more to get it done. I’m planning on doing my own with utube help. Not working yet so no advice on how good it operates

I thought there was no refrigerant charge as my gauges showed nothing and I heard little noise when I opened the valve on the condenser to release it into the vacuumed lines. I was really upset. Later, I decided to just run it. It actually is cooling perfectly. My gauges must be broken. I will replace them. old bad review below: I got everything all set up. Vacuumed the lines for an hour. Waited an hour to make sure the vacuum held. It did. I went to release the refrigerant into the vacuumed lines… and there was none. I am trying to figure out how to reach out to support, but it is not easy to figure out. I cannot recommend this product. If support reaches out to me and rectifies the situation, I will update the review. I would rather reach out to support directly rather than leave a bad review first, but I can’t figure out how to do so… ... show more
