Takes a very long time to put together, but it is very sturdy (and heavy) and beautiful. The only thing is that you have to have the leaf out for the table to be square, and there is no filler piece for where the leaf comes out, so it leaves a break in the edging of the table on both sides. Would be great if it came with a piece to put there so that it is fluid. A table runner covers it up, though. ... show more

I purchased this table and it’s gorgeous, exactly what we wanted. It was supposed to be a 9 piece set. However, it didn’t come with 8 chairs like it stated, it only came with 6. I have no way to get ahold of the seller. Pretty disappointed.....

Do not waste your money on this table. I bought it with the expectation that it would be normal height. I am 5'0 and it goes up to my waist. Not only that, it was delivered with some sort of wood melting adhesive or something on the top surface of the table.
