  • Love it ~
Color: Silver
I bought this multi-function player to play vinyl records. Some vinyl record players require the purchase of additional speakers, but this player already has high-quality speakers built-in. The sound quality played is very good, easy to operate and cost-effective. It can also play cassettes, CDs, and read external memory cards. There are a lot of features I haven’t tried yet, but I’m very pleased with the quality of vinyl playback. More than that, it looks great too. ... show more

  • Finally something that records
I just got this today. I wasn't happy at first because the cassette player didn't have a recording button. Being a eighties girl, I kind of miss that. I liked making and receiving mix tapes. I realize technology changes and people use CDs to do their mixes. Anyway, I did record a record track. I do need to clean the record, because they are from the 70s and 80s. And some people take care of their LPs keeping them clean etc. I am getting a kit as there was a skip, but not a bad one. The device requires a 8 gig usb or SD card. Anything over and the machine can't detect it. These are available on Amazon. But so many of us have larger ones, I kind of wish this stipulation didn't exist. Nonetheless, it did record. I am happy. Cds seemed to come out in 85 and not every LP made it to CD. And if it did, the price is exorbitant. The remote is nice because it will turn the machine off and on. And there is an equalizer. Which many machines, don't have. As for the sound, it sounds better when you are further away from the unit. In my case, I hooked it up to a boombox with better speakers and a louder system. I am listening to classical and it does sound richer than I thought. Perhaps having the speakers on the sides while making it compact, makes the sound less robust, head on. The company was nice enough to include an extra needle. If you wish to use other speakers, you will need a y connector and Red/White Audio Cables. Another thing is that this does have an AM radio. I appreciate that because many stereos have gotten rid of it. It is a smaller unit but it sounds good. The front text is a bit harder to see but not as dark as some machines. I am grateful for the extra needle, equalizer, and the on and off switch on the remote. It was more straightforward making a copy of my lps which is good because perhaps being older, it is a way of hanging on to the memories associated with those songs. {An Update.) I noticed that when you put the cd, it automatically starts at the beginning. Often they start at the last track and you have to rehit another button to get to the beginning of the CD. Also a cd I had which skipped on the other cd player and even in my burner worked flawlesslly. I know it is a little thing, but it is nice. I have a big library of songs in MP3 format, but playing individual CD's is kind of like putting a record on. It is deliberate and ritual like and the feeling is different than pressing a button. I was displeased at first that the machine only accepted an 8 gig USB because it seems so small. But it is worth it not to have CDs skip. The bluetooth works but it seems to require line of site to what you are pairing, IE having the machine face the item or be in close proximity to what you want to pair it too. Michelle ... show more

  • Cheap & Poorly Constructed
The media could not be loaded. Bought this as a birthday gift for my 15 year old daughter and we were both disappointed. All parts are flimsy and could easily break. Applying the slightest amount of pressure to any moving part could cause it to snap. Regular sized 33-inch vinyl records spill out to the sides making it difficult to keep your records from gathering dust. You’ll need to make sure to have at least 2 or 3 inches of space both on the sides and in the back of the unit. We thought the sound quality was very poor with very little stereo effect. Both CDs and vinyl records sound like they’re being played out of an old telephone - which is great if you’re playing something from 1800s. Even the output to powered monitors using the RCA connectors comes out distorted for both vinyl records and CDs - at any volume. The RCA outputs are a totally useless feature. When playing records, even the slightest vibration will make the record skip. Overall, this product is so poorly made and cheaply constructed that it could easily pass for a toy - however, it isn’t sturdy enough for even the most gentle children. ... show more

  • Perfect 4 gen X oldheads
Color: Silver
This was perfect for all my needs. With approximately 2000 records, hundreds of CDs, and tapes. Due to limited space in my man Cave I was able to junk all my old equipment and have a source that covers all my music playing needs. Speakers just loud enough to enjoy. Bluetooth and remote were also a plus. Excellent value for the price. ... show more

  • Poor cassette sound quality
Color: Silver
Motor noise from the cassette player is picked up when trying to record a cassette to an SD card. My advice is to take the price of this player and put it towards a higher-quality one.

I purchased this for my fiancé as a bday gift and he absolutely loved it. These is very nice. Just as pictured. It can connect to Bluetooth from the phone as well. The sound quality was decent for the price, you could always add external speakers if needed but it does find without it. The perfect size to, not too bulky. I may purchase one for myself. Thank you. ... show more
