I thought this was a great deal for the money.. install was straightforward and all parts came in box. Mowed well for 6 months which was about 5 mows on 2 acres. This past week the deck started shaking aggressively. Upon inspection the spindle pulley was wobbling. Pulled the deck out and removed the pulley to find no seal or bearings. Completely gutted… I had replaced the belt 2 weeks ago after it shredded. I thought this kit was a little too affordable. Local prices for parts: Belt - 56$ Blades - 70$ Spindles 25-35$ ea x3 I knew they would be cheaper parts and was expecting a year of use.. nope.     • Great minus one issue that I resolved.
Wanted to put some time on these before reviewing. I have been mowing with this deck rebuild kit on my Husqvarna Z254 for a couple months. Everything has held up great. Bearings were quality as were the spindle castings and the blade seem to be as well. Now the reason I gave it 4 stars. I ate the teeth off of 3 different belt pulleys that sit on top of the spindles. Took a while but I discovered the reason. If you look at the top of the stock spindles there is a small spacer forged into it that is about a 1/4 inch thick. The new spindles do not have that. I ordered spacers from repair clinic and have not had any issue since. With out the spacer the teeth inside to pulley do not sit properly with the teeth on the spindle spline. Just a heads up if us this kit order spacers from somewhere as well. ... show more

    • Everything looked good except they only sent us 2 of the 3 pulleys
All good but only received 2 of 3 pulleys would have given 5 star if not for that

Purchased almost a year ago to date.. Belt is completely shot after minimal use need to replace already. Let's hope the spindles and pulleys last longer than the belt.
