I was expecting, you know, a regular size external hard drive. But this one is about the size of two thumb drives side-by-side! It's so tiny and cute! On a serious note, it runs as expected. I was hoping to put decals on it as part of the gift but it was two small. I even measured with a Seagate drive we have. But I was slightly disappointed that it was so tiny. I was only able to fit two decals. One on each side. Honestly the size is probably better anyway. Takes up less space while in-use, and it makes it easier to store. I wish there was an option to have the full size, but I can overlook that. ... show more

Positives: Enormous capacity. Works straight away when you plug it in to Win 11 machine. Meh: Not super quiet. As power savings take effect, you can hear the drive spin up and literally spin down. The spin down is a bit unnerving as you can literally hear the platters inside this drive slowly stop spinning. Never had a drive that made this noise. Bad: No power switch.
