(Picture is size vs pencil) I was worried originally when I got it thinking it would be difficult to set up. Nope, just plug it in and BAM you have literally nothing else to do. It even comes with it’s own USB so you don’t have to buy one separately. The USB isn’t that long though. The hard drive is smaller than my phone and doesn’t get in the way of my tight setup. I accidentally unplugged it and worried I’d have to redownload my things, but they were all still there when I plugged it back in, PHEW! Now I finally have more computer space and it was so easy. Definitely recommend if you need more space too 🙃 ... show more

I purchased this Seagate Portable 1 TB External Hard Drive for storing pictures and videos from my IPad. It worked so well that I pulled out all of my old cameras, phones, lap tops, and desktop computers and backed up all of the photos and videos on those, as well. And my Seagate still has a large amount of free space. Every device I plugged the Seagate into, immediately recognized the device and was ready to go. The file transfer speed was amazing. I am very impressed. My only concern was the included usb cable seemed a bit flimsy as far as the Micro B end that plugs into the drive. It worked fine but I was worried it was too flimsy and wouldn’t last. Easy fix, I just purchased a more solid cable. Very -.eased with this purchase. 5 stars ... show more

For the price, I’m beyond satisfied with this HDD. It has that hot cheap plastic smell when in use but after over 2 years (iirc!) of use, it’s still running strong and I still have plenty of storage space left to use. Set up is easy, it works just fine and I don’t notice any considerable increase in loading times on my games (using this for Xbox One). It’s fairly compact and lightweight with only two cords.
