  • Excellent Alternative to Bulky Wire Cables
Size: 20M/65.6ft
For a while now I have run into issues with high bandwidth video over distances longer than 6 feet. If you are familiar with networking, you have probably quickly realized years ago that running these high resolutions and high refresh rates consumed a large amount of bandwidth. For most professionals working with these amounts of bandwidth, the answer has been fiber for anything longer than a small patch cables due to reliability of the data transport and shielding from interference. However, fiber video transport has been prohibitively expensive for most home installations. Enter this cable. It has been no surprise that most of the wired HDMI cables I have purchased, even those touting certification have trouble delivering such high bandwidth though such thin cables. This hybrid HDMI cable has worked great at maintaining the required bandwidth needed for high resolution high refresh rate uncompressed video. Also significantly cheaper than the technology was just 5 years ago! The only downsides: The cable is directional, so if you have a permanent cable installation, you would need to redo the cable in the future if your wiring changes, or just run two cables in opposite directions on the initial install. The extra electronics make the connectors noticeable more bulky than standard cables. If you equipment has tight spacing, then you may lose out on access to extra ports or the cable may not fit at all. ... show more

  • Got rid of the snow
Size: 5M/16.4ft
As my equipment outgrew my shelving I moved it to a wheeled rack. All my old cables came direct from the source and out a hole in the wall. To prevent the risk of pulling cables through when moving the rack I put in wall plates. My setup previously had a fiber optic cable going straight from the TV to the receiver. When putting in the wall plates I tried putting short copper cables on each side (TV to wall plate and receiver to wall plate) while keeping my long fiber optic cable run inside the walls to connect the wall plates. Unfortunately I started getting some snow when playing 4k HDR. I was pleasantly surprised that a fiber optic cable in this price range could not only work well, but also fix the problem I had. Fiber optic really helps prevent noise when running HDMI with a bunch of audio and other cables (see pictures for context). ... show more

  • Passes initial tests
Size: 10M/33ft
Got 10m hdmi and tested on Denon X3800H. Passed 4/5 times. Which was similar to a Ruipro Gen3 I already have that has some occasional drop outs. Will try this cable out for a bit, update review once it's had fair shake.

  • Affordable Thin 2.1 Cables
Size: 5M/16.4ft
My home theater setup requires cables to run behind the wall and the HDMI cables that came with the PS5 and Apple TV 4K were too short and thick to fit. Usually Monoprice is my go-to for things of this nature, but HDMI cables that fit these criteria are very expensive. To get this thin, these cables are directional. Be sure to plug the “1” end into the source and “2” end into the display. If you are going to run the cables behind a wall, quadruple check this and test them out for at least a week before running them (and add an extra cable to be safe). I had some display and audio issues when I first upped the quality settings on my devices. This seems to be an issue with 2.1 broadly (this is even acknowledged on the PS5 support page), and were resolved after adjusting other device settings. It is an absolute pain to troubleshoot what’s wrong, but the issue was not the wires. Note: I’ve been using the cables for almost a month (it is now end of January 2023). Other reviewers have reported their cables stopped working after a few months so I’ll keep you posted if anything changes. Update: It is almost April and no issues! ... show more

  • 2K @ 50 feet works!
Size: 15M/49.2ft
There's not much reviews specifically on PC connectivity so I just have to write one: Nvidia RTX3070 2K 60Hz 50 Feet FIBR cable Been looking for cable a long time and bought several but all of them either straight up doesn't work or the screen keeps on blinking in and out. Finally landed on this and I'm happy on my decision to get it. The cables are not 3rd party (meaning the packaging and cables are form the brand FIBR itself). Cables are very light for 50 feet and thin, much like a Cat6 cable but lighter and less tangle. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • It does not transmit the picture on my Xfinity TV
Size: 10M/33ft
I red some technical information on different websites, and fiber optic HDMI should be an option if you need longer than 20ft cable. I already used copper HDMI and couldn't transmit the picture of xfinity TV BOX, and with shorter hdmi was just fine. I see exactly same issue with this fiber optic HDMI. I am not sure if you go with better quality, that would be a solution! ... show more

  • Great Fix for a Maximum Length Issue
Size: 7.5M/24ft
I bought this along with an 8k bi-directional HDMI switch to connect an Xbox Series S to a TV about 20ft away. The switch states that this distance is far above what it can support, and I was unable to get it to work with a normal 4k cable. This one has no issues pushing the signal that far, even using 4k 120hz maximum settings. I'm amazed at how well it's working, and I'm glad I sprang for this one! ... show more
