I am using this Oilsky MP3 player to play music where I cannot stream. This device is much more than an MP3 player, it is an Android device. At home, I connected it to my Wi-Fi, opened my music App (Amazon Music in this case) and downloaded the music I wanted. At work (a school) streaming services are blocked, but the downloaded music plays. In my case I am using a 3.5mm cable connected to our PA system. But I have already tested the player with Bluetooth and it works great. I have thoroughly happy with my purchase and recommend this product. ... show more

    • Very nice (Oilsky 80GB MP3 Player with Bluetooth and WiFi)
Essentially a very nice, tiny Android tablet. It's running Android 9 (5Feb21) so far from the latest but perfectly adequate for the task. Device performance isn't snappy but also quite adequate. The 480x800 display is clear and bright. 2MB RAM, MT6750 SoC with 8 1.51GHz cores. I installed a few apps from the Play store without trouble, including maps which worked well. Loading up some audio files and books also went without a hitch. Audio playback via Bluetooth was flawless. This device goes to sleep quite aggressively and actually shuts down if left idle for too long. On the flip side, the battery does last very well. Although this features a USB-C charge port it cannot be used with USB-C chargers. USB-C PD power supplies were not triggered when connected. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included however and you can use pretty much any USB-A power source. (5V at up to 900mA.) The 80GB actually refers to 16GB onboard and 64GB on an included SD card. This device is smaller than it appears in online pictures, so be aware. That is not a problem for me. The internet browse is too slow to be usable, but that is not why I bought it. I use it for audiobooks and it does ok for that. The speaker is loud enough to not need further amplification in most cases. I have used the bluetooth to connect to ear buds and that works well.
