They are made to use and reuse for a very long time. The picture is of a work in progress. I have taken a 2x4 piece of wood to cut it to look like a church or house. This is a very nice stencil set. There are a variety of stencils to use. You'll need to press them against your project for them to lay flat. You may have some trouble stenciling non-flat surfaces.

These are a nice sturdy plastic, which is a must, in my opinion. I learned that the hard way after buying various stencil sets without checking the material, and received paper / very thin cardboard stencils, which will last maybe one use if you're lucky.
