  • Great addition to my pedal board quality sound.
Using for my accustic guitar great sound.

  • MXR
I’d agree with the reviewer that discribed it as subtle. But missed when it’s off. I really like it. I ran my looper looping in front of it for a bit till I found what are the perfect settings for me. (In my photo) seems it goes from the nice subtle sound to wtf is that? Really quickly when adjusting it near the upper limits. The pedal is a buffered bypass. Sounds great and Unnoticed bypassed so I don’t mind at all. What I do mind and reason for taking a star is it’s made in Taiwan. Kinda a bummer as I just assumed it was American made based off my MXR fuzz pedal which I believe is. It’s still an awesome pedal. Lots of you tube videos out there comparing it to others. And to me it was the best sounding. Really makes acoustic sounding songs like the beginning of Zombie by the Cranberries sound really full. For anyone curious what the chorus sound actually is. The best I heard it described is a second guitar playing delayed a tad off your original tone. Like two guitars jamming at once. This pedal has a ton of settings. I’ll describe them in my terms. (Level controls the volume of the effect) to me the volume of the second guitar. It won’t increase your volume like gain and distortion pedals. (Rate controls the speed of the chorus effect) like how off beat your second guitar player is. (Depth controls the intensity of the effect) I cant tell what this does accept make it sound full when turned up and warbly when to high. High and low cut the high and low on the second guitar sound while not touching your real sound from what I can tell. Hope this helps y’all. I’d definitely go look for the you tube videos. If you think this is the best come back and buy it here with some free cables. To me it sounded the best. But I don’t like country music and millions do so watch comparisons for yourself. ... show more

  • Excelente
La verdad me gustó mucho, le dan gran color al sonido y personalidad, una buena elección, y escucho muchas críticas a la luz led azul al estar encendida, personalmente no me molesta, creo que está perfecto.

  • Great Chorus but Bypass is Awful
I want to give this pedal 3.5 stars. I love MXR, and if it wasn’t for the bypass I would probably rate it 4.5-5 stars. The chorus effects are fantastic. It’s very versatile with the low and high cuts in addition to what you would expect in a chorus pedal. It’s almost impossible to get an overwhelming, disagreeable effect from it even if you try - its entire range is useful to varying degrees. Depends on what you’re going for, though. I think most players will get what they want from this stomp box, but if you’re looking for an over the top chorus to make people sea sick you probably should look elsewhere and would probably be better off with a digital chorus. The reason I don’t think this is a perfect chorus pedal is because of the buffered bypass. Now, I am in no way a “true bypass only” elitist. There are plenty of pedals with a buffer that I think are hardly noticeable when turned off. This pedal doesn’t just color your signal a little bit when it’s turned off. You’ll have to dial in your amp and EQ completely differently to make up for it, and even then I feel like the clean signal still sounds muffled or muted or something. In my opinion, that’s a lot to sacrifice for a pedal when it’s off, and I take it out of my effects chain when I’m not using it. I’ve not tried it in stereo, yet. The added cables are handy and a welcome extra. ... show more

  • Subtle.. but not as subtle as people make it seem.
You know what’s not subtle? that freaking LED! Tape over it.. simply solved. But yeah, this chorus is beautiful. Sure it’s not intense like a CE-2, but it’s still apparent when you turn the mix up. Really nice sound with great flexibility. For the price I’d go for it.

  • Analog is Gooood!
It’s so hard to find a good Chorus pedal but, I should have known better than NOT to remember this old Jem. The extra cables were a nice extra for the price and had me immediately turn around and buy more so I would have enough. I love analog, MXR also has the Stereo Chorus but for my needs, the M234 is the seasoning on my creations. ... show more

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
One day I decided to buy a chorus pedal just for the hell of it and I kept getting reccomended the mxr analog chorus pedal and once I heard and watched the review online I instantly purchased it and waited a week for It to show up and when it did I took it out with 4 SWEET complimentary cables and enjoyed it. At first I didn't know how to get the basic chorus setting solved until I read the manual for the presets. You can use this pedal for things like getting the classic 80s tone, nirvana style grunge, Shoegaze indie rock, psychedelic surf pop, etc. this pedal can do absolutely anything and it sound great with a fuzz pedal cranked up. if you don't get this and you decide to get a boss pedal where the pedal kills your tone, then you my friend are a tool.Get this over anything. ... show more

  • Nice pedal
Nice pedal, and the inclusion of the cables was nice as well. The effect is perhaps a bit subtle, but when I turn it off I instantly miss its sweetening influence on the sound of my acoustic guitar. I leave it on all the time now at a low rate setting, occasionally turning the rate knob up to get that leslie warble. I sometimes use a little overdrive before the chorus, and the chorus adds some nice interest and movement to those crunchier overdriven tones. Others have complained about the "effect on" light being too bright, but this is a plus in my opinion. ... show more
