Purchased this tent for a recent camping trip with the kids. While I don't have 8 people in my family, we still have half of that amount and we were all able to fit inside of this tent with much room. We had 4 camping pads. What's great about this tent, is it not only fit the whole family but still had plenty of room left over for our luggage, bags, pillows, extra shoes and a few other items we would keep inside. Not to mention, even with all of us inside, we never once got too hot or stuffy inside. My son is very tall and able to stand up in it. The mesh windows on this not only allowed air to flow through this but there are enough that there is no reason for you to get stuffy in this tent. We have used this tent once since it's arrived. Hope it will works and looks great after some times. It looks waterproof too. My whole family loves camping but hate all the struggle of setting up a regular dome tent by ourselves. I was worried that this would be hard for us too, but I was wrong. It was Easy to set up but does require a couple people as it is quite large, makes it easier. It took only a few minutes and taking it down and putting it back in its case was less than 10. Ps: our friends came over to marvel at it's size and awesomeness, making us feel like the Star of The Campground:) Highly recommended for family outings or if you need a small apartment sized tent for yourself. ... show more

This tent was a last minute purchase for Memorial Day weekend. Was a little concerned at first because the whole top of actual tent is nothing but mesh. The canopy that goes over was perfect and is water proof. I am use to tents with more or a tarp like material floor. This is the same as the sides. Just set it up to see how it looks. It was very easy even the first time and was even easier to take down. Very roomie and comfortable, it came exactly as advertised. Compares well to similarly priced tents at box stores. I'm impressed with how fast I received it and the quality right out of the box. Cons: 1- Absolutely NOT water proof, water through after a few hours of light rain 2- only two windows which cannot be opened under rain 3- super low quality zipper 4- rainfly is too small to protect from anything 5- it does not fit in the bag after usage 6-no room division 7-just one door 8-annoying frame during unmount, it does not fold properly to fit back in the bag ... show more
