This is so nice to have a machine that fits perfect in my hand. It is weighted properly, the needle adapters sit perfect with no wiggle, and easy to wrap up. I tried several types of needle packs and all worked without a hitch. Using them for practice skin currently, and have tried a few of the Wormhole products and it's nice to see the evolution of the machine and technology and how they strive to improve on each design. The clicking is nice and easy to see lines on the side make it a nice addition to know precisely where it's at, and the battery never ran out for a few practice sheets. This by far, is the best they offer so far, and worth picking up if you are serious about improving your artwork and line quality. It's got more power than the basic model, the buttons are easily seen and accessed, and learning on the rotary machines currently, and using practice skin. The curve at the bottom is perfect finger form, and I can't stress enough how great it is for large hands. This was a pleasure to use, and looking forward to improving my skillset with this. Still getting used to all the features it has. I believe you would like this too. Smooth. This wireless rotary tattoo pen from Wormhole is a phenomenal value, but more than that, an amazing runner. It's so quiet, and so incredibly smooth, that it compares favorably to those machines costing many times more. It's a great machine. This is very pleasing to me in everyway. I seached hard, and couldn't find a single thing I didn't like about it. The Wormhole Pro is a wireless tattoo pen that runs like a champ. It's shape is very good (wide at the grip area), and it has the best digital, multi-color readout that I have ever seen on any tattoo pen. I mean, it's awesome, and it tells you everything you need to know at a quick glance. The characters are large and very easy to read. Amazing readout, and trust me, my terrible pics do not do justice to it. The pen also features an adjustable stroke length of 2.4mm all the way to 4.2mm, impressive, indeed. There is a charge port at the top (charging cable included), and the mid-section is caliprated precisely to show just how much stroke you have. It has click stops that are positive. I lvoe the matte finish, and the glossy red calibration ring. 4 button operation, and you have a working range of 4.0v all the way to 12.0v. Great! Battery fully charges in less than 2 hours, and will run up to 6 hours. Feels great in the hand, and doesn't roll! It's designed to stay on the table, and though it doesn't seem that important it's rather hard to understand why all tattoo pens aren't designed this way. This tattoo gun is very easy to adjust and see what settings you are using, thanks to the large screen on it. Charging with USB C makes it convenient.

First impressions: upon unboxing and holding it in my hand, I first noticed how heavy the machine but not heavy like it’s going to give you a cramp. It’s sturdy and grip is fatter than the top where the large, bright, colored display screen is. There is knurling on the grip but I would still advise wrapping it with grip tape before tattooing for easier grip. The battery is integrated unfortunately but arrives with 4 out of 5 bars charged. Displayed is the voltage, hz, and usage time. The increments of the voltage is by .1 when you adjust it and it goes all the way down to 4v but unfortunately it kind of takes more time than usual to get there due to the .1 adjustment. It doesn’t race through when holding the button down like other machines would. There is adjustable needle depth and it does not round robin so if you adjust to 2.4, that’s it, you can’t continue twisting it. Same applies when you adjust to 4.2. The machine runs QUIET and very little vibration - i barely feel it and i did not have the grip taped up either. This is a nice, strong machine. It might not be for everyone due to its weight in your hand, but I personally love the heavier machines as they feel quality built and durable. The media could not be loaded. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different machines now. This only comes with the pen, but fortunately I’ve built up quite a supply of consumables, so lack of accessories isn’t an issue. I’d suggest waiting on this machine until you’ve reached an upper beginner to intermediate level and are ready to work with real skin, though this probably wouldn’t be the best bet for your long-term machine as it isn’t as involved and versatile as the higher-end machines. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun has more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth than you get with the base-level kit machines, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins and intermittently shading in some decades-old tattoos to try it out on actual skin. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch. Overall, this is a very user-friendly machine for someone in the later beginner phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the cost. ... show more
